Holiday season is approaching and what better way to spread joy than through songs? 

CHERRY Philippines is bringing an exhilarating twist to our Christmas caroling tradition with its Choiraoke Caroling Contest! Whether you're a seasoned performer or just love singing with friends or family, this contest is for YOU!

Here’s how you join:

1.     Visit any participating CHERRY concept stores starting November 4 - December 4, 2024 from 11AM - 8:00PM

·         SM Mall of Asia

·         SM Megamall

·         SM Fairview

·         SM Bacoor

·         SM Southmall

·         Robinsons Manila

2.   Must be a group minimum of 3 members to participate. The group must fill out the registration form at the CHERRY Store with their GROUP NAME, COMPLETE NAMES, BIRTHDATE, AGE, Facebook names, Instagram username, TikTok usernames, ADDRESS, CONTACT NUMBER and EMAIL ADDRESS to be qualified to join the contest. Lastly, contestants must like CHERRY’s social media pages

3.  The group participant must sing one (1) caroling song with no profanity using the CHERRY Wireless Karaoke. The song must last a maximum of 4 minutes only.

4.     The store frontliner will be taking a video of the group participant with the group participant’s    approved consent, through a signed written consent form, in portrait orientation for a maximum of 4 minutes. Only one (1) video entry is allowed.

5.     All qualified group entries collated by the store frontliners will be reviewed and judged by a panel of judges composed of representatives from CHERRY Philippines with the presence of a DTI representative on December 6 (Friday) at 2:00PM. The criteria as basis for judging are: 30% for Voice Quality, 15% for Mastery, 15% for Confidence and Presence, and 40% for Overall Performance.

The top ten (10) group entries to be chosen will have their entries posted on CHERRY Philippines’ Official Facebook page on December 10, 2024.

1.     The top ten (10) winning group will receive the following;

1ST RUNNER-UP:

2.   A snail mail / email notification will be received by the ten (10) winning groups with a request for their address and at least two (2) valid IDs of the group representative.

3.   The prizes will be delivered at the address provided by the winners upon email notification receipt from CHERRY Philippines. Winners must respond via email within 30 days after the announcement of winners on December 10, 2024.

4.  For the prizes exceeding P10,000 in value, the 20% withholding tax and other expenses that will be incurred in relation to the prize shall be shouldered by CHERRY Philippines.

The Strike a Pose winners showed their creativity by posing fashionably like Heart Evangelista and joined Strike a Pose with CHERRY Philippines. CHERRY Cares by MSN Foundation, Inc., the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm of CHERRY, signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Eulogio “Amang” Rodriguez Institute of Science and Technology (EARIST) on May 30, 2024, for the CherrySkwela Educational Assistance Program.

Hence, ten (10) undergraduates from the institution will undergo a selection and review process to determine their eligibility for receiving support from the program.
