Lalamove, the leading on-demand and ride-hailing platform in the Philippines, rolls out its latest Deliver Care initiative, “Moves that Bring You Home”, dedicated to making a positive impact in the communities it serves.
For many NGOs, the constraint is not only access to donated goods, but the cost and coordination required to move bulky items from multiple areas. As a result, donations go uncollected, renovation projects stall, and essential supplies are delayed. Lalamove helps close this gap by launching its corporate social responsibility (CSR) program to provide delivery solutions or essential community services, from house-moving and relief efforts to the delivery of donations, bulky items, and project materials.
In the Philippines, Lalamove partnered with Save the Children and Tzu Chi Foundation to support their humanitarian and relief efforts to affected communities nationwide, especially those who need medical supplies, food, and other essential items for their day-to-day necessities.
Extending the impact through LalaPoints donations
Lalamove users can now also support different communities affected by natural disasters or emergencies through Save the Children Philippines and Tzu Chi Foundation Philippines by registering as Lalamove Rewards members and donating accumulated LalaPoints from every completed order. With a total of 450 or 950 LalaPoints, PHP 20 or PHP 50 will be donated to their chosen NGO, which supports their relief and humanitarian efforts.
