The roadshow runs in several locations, including SM City Cebu (September 5–17), SM Mall of Asia (September 5–10), SM North Edsa (September 5–14), and SM Davao Ecoland (September 6–15). Celebrate Inspiring Photography with the XMAGE Awards 2025

HUAWEI invites photographers and hobbyists around the world to participate in the XMAGE Awards 2025, a global photography competition open to both professionals and enthusiasts. Participants can submit up to 30 entries, including photos and videos, all taken with a HUAWEI smartphone. Image files should be in JPG, JPEG, or PNG format and under 30 MB, while videos should be in MP4 format and under 400 MB, with their original EXIF data intact.

Entries are open until September 15, 2025, and can be submitted through the XMAGE Awards website, HUAWEI Community, or My HUAWEI app using a HUAWEI ID. Photographers may also participate by posting their work on Instagram with #HUAWEIXMAGE, following @huaweixmageawards, and ensuring their profiles are set to public. This year, three Grand Prize winners will each receive USD 10,000, while 97 other outstanding participants will be awarded USD 1,500 each.

After much anticipation on its latest line of smartphones, as well as taking the number 1 spot in DXOMark’s 2024 rankings*HUAWEI Philippines has kicked things off with a bang with the first sales of its newest Pura 70 Series.

To celebrate this milestone, HUAWEI is hosting nationwide mall exhibits, giving customers the opportunity to experience the imaging prowess of the HUAWEI Pura 70 Series firsthand.

HUAWEI's Pura 70 Series stands out in the mobile industry with cutting-edge camera technology, offering features like Ultra Speed Snapshot and Ultra Lighting Macro Telephoto camera modules for professional-grade portraits. The SM Megamall exhibition will be held at the Fashion Hall from June 7-9, 2024. This event will offer an interactive experience to its guests, as they’ll receive a special passport with tasks and will be rewarded with exciting freebies and prizes upon completion. In Visayas, the exhibition at SM Cebu, located at the lower ground main hall, will run for two weeks beginning June 1, 2024, and focuses on showcasing the Pura 70 Series' stylish designs, customizable interface, and industry-leading camera technology. Similarly, Davao’s exhibit at the ground floor of SM Davao’s Annex building features the same program as in Cebu’s event, but also gives a 5% discount on cash purchases along with a complimentary gift.

As a prominent and highly-marketed feature of the phones, the exhibits in each of the three malls will showcase the diverse collection of photographs captured using the Pura 70 Series lineup. The exhibit, titled “Heartwarming Moments”, features shots from landscapes captured from far away to portraits shot up close, and highlighted different “moments” promoted by the Pura narrative, namely moments of time, smile, beauty, and discovery. The photos being featured were carefully selected from different entities like Fotomoto, Manila Bulletin, Vogue Philippines, and even from HUAWEI’s community of tech enthusiasts, photographers, and avid fans.

Thanks to XMAGE technology, when combined together, each of the moments weave together a unique and heartwarming story, commonly found in everyday life, and to capture the world in its most stunning version.
