Here’s what 1600mm zoom looks like on the vivo X300 FE

In everyday life, moments unfold quickly, often unnoticed. A flower by the roadside, a bird perched at a distance, striking piece of public art between buildings. These are scenes people pass by without realizing how much detail they actually hold.

With the vivo X300 FE, users can capture everyday moments with clarity and ease. Even better when paired with the vivo ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2, unlocking up to 1600mm zoom, bringing distant subjects into striking, detailed focus.

Together, they show two ways of seeing: what you can capture normally, and what becomes visible when you extend your reach.

vivo ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2

In a 1600mm zoom shot, a violinist statue becomes vividly detailed, its form and craftsmanship clearly visible even from a significant distance. In contrast, the same subject in a 23mm wide shot remains physically present in the scene but appears small and easily overlooked at normal viewing distance.

The difference in perspective highlights how distance can conceal detail, and how telephoto zoom can bring those hidden elements forward with clarity and precision.

Seeing from different perspectives

Through the vivo X300 FE, users can capture scenes from a natural 23mm (wide) perspective, along with built-in zoom capabilities for closer framing of distant subjects.

Without the telephoto extender, subjects can still be brought closer through standard zoom, but detail remains limited by distance. With the vivo ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2, faraway subjects can be captured with significantly enhanced clarity and detail.

A flower by the roadside is visible in its environment, but fine textures and subtle details are less pronounced at this distance.

With the vivo ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 at up to 1600mm zoom, textures, edges, and intricate details become significantly clearer, revealing aspects of the subject that are difficult to capture with standard smartphone zoom.

Bringing distant subjects closer and clearer

The difference becomes even more evident when capturing moving or distant subjects such as wildlife.

A bird perched far away appears even at standard zoom without the extender, but distance limits the clarity of fine details.

With the vivo ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2, the same subject is brought significantly closer, revealing sharper definition, texture, and detail.

This comparison highlights how the telephoto extender enhances the ability to capture distant subjects with greater precision and clarity.

The vivo X300 FE is designed for users who enjoy capturing everyday life with clarity, offering versatile imaging for both wide and telephoto perspectives.

When paired with the vivo ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2, the experience expands into long-range photography that brings distant subjects significantly closer, unlocking creative possibilities that typically require dedicated professional camera equipment.

More than an accessory, the telephoto extender transforms the X300 FE into a more powerful imaging system, rewarding curiosity with greater visual reach and precision.

The vivo X300 FE and vivo ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 are available at vivo stores nationwide, through Shopee, Lazada, the vivo e-store and the vivo official app.

The vivo X300 FE is priced at Php 54,999. A bundled package featuring the vivo ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 is available for Php 68,998, offering extended zoom capabilities of up to 1600mm for enhanced long-range photography.

Can the vivo V70 FE keep up with the V70?

Smartphone brand vivo has detailed the imaging capabilities of its mid-range smartphone, the vivo V70 FE, demonstrating how its camera system performs alongside its more premium sibling, the vivo V70.

In a series of real-world comparative tests conducted in a restaurant setting, the vivo V70 FE delivered camera performance that closely matched the vivo V70, particularly in indoor and low-light scenarios. Equipped with a 200MP Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) Ultra-Clear Main Camera, the device produced detailed image output across multiple shooting conditions.

Using standard 1x Photo Mode, both smartphones were tested on architectural and long-distance image rendering from a fixed indoor vantage point. The scene included a residential neighborhood, a visible rainbow, and Mount Arayat in the background.

The vivo V70 FE captured a wide dynamic range while preserving structural detail and environmental gradients. Its high-resolution sensor maintained edge sharpness and clarity in distant subjects, producing image quality comparable to the vivo V70 in daylight conditions.

Additional tests evaluated specialized camera modes commonly used in everyday photography.

In 85mm Portrait Mode, both devices were used to photograph interior lighting fixtures to assess focal compression and depth simulation. Although the vivo V70 produced a creamier bokeh, the vivo V70 FE still effectively separated the foreground subject from the background, creating natural depth while preserving fine structural details.

For Food Mode, the smartphones were tested using a tiramisu dessert under warm restaurant lighting. The vivo V70 FE captured fine textures, including cocoa powder and layered cream, while maintaining balanced white tones despite challenging indoor lighting conditions.

The device’s imaging performance is supported by hardware designed to improve clarity and stability across various shooting environments. The vivo V70 FE features a 200MP OIS Ultra-Clear Main Camera with a 1/1.56-inch flagship-grade sensor, enabling greater light intake for improved image quality in varied lighting conditions. Compared with the previous-generation V60 Lite, the sensor delivers a 42% increase in light capture, supporting enhanced detail in both daytime and low-light photography.

The smartphone also incorporates vivo’s Ultra-Clear Imaging Engine, which uses multi-frame processing and computational imaging algorithms to optimize sharpness, exposure, and overall image composition.

Supporting the camera system is vivo’s self-developed OIS technology, rated at CIPA 4.0. The stabilization system enables faster shake compensation, helping reduce blur and improve handheld shooting performance, particularly in low-light or motion-heavy scenarios.

Beyond imaging, the vivo V70 FE also offers battery and charging capabilities designed to support extended daily use. The smartphone is equipped with a 7000mAh BlueVolt battery and 90W FlashCharge technology, enabling longer usage periods and faster recharging for users who rely on their devices for photography, content creation, and everyday multitasking.

The vivo V70 FE is available for as low as Php 25,999, which is a more accessible alternative to the vivo V70 while offering camera capabilities designed to compete within the premium smartphone segment. Get it now in vivo stores nationwide or online via the vivo e-store, Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop.

For today's dads, staying connected matters most

For many fathers today, a typical day rarely stays in one lane. A work message comes in while commuting. A quick check-in with family happens between meetings. A short break often turns into a few minutes of entertainment before the next task begins.

For today’s dads, staying connected is less about being constantly online and more about keeping life moving without missing what matters. From juggling schedules and taking important calls to stealing a few quiet minutes in between, most of it now happens on one device that has to keep up with everything at once.

As daily routines become more blended, smartphones have taken on a central role in helping manage these shifting demands. For fathers balancing work, home responsibilities, and personal time, reliability and long-lasting performance have become key considerations.

The vivo Y31d is designed for this kind of everyday use. It features a 7200mAh BlueVolt battery intended to support extended hours of communication, work tasks and entertainment without frequent charging interruptions.

When power runs low, the device supports 44W fast charging to help reduce downtime between activities. It also includes bypass charging technology, which allows power to go directly to the system while plugged in, helping manage heat during longer usage sessions.

For moments of rest, the device is equipped with HyperSense audio and dual speakers with up to 400% volume output, designed to deliver clearer sound for videos, music and mobile games. A 4D Game Vibration feature adds tactile feedback during supported gameplay, including titles such as Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and Call of Duty: Mobile.

The smartphone features a 6.75-inch Dotch Display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, aimed at providing smoother scrolling, clearer visuals and more responsive interaction across everyday tasks like browsing, streaming and gaming.

It runs on the Snapdragon 6s Gen 2 processor, supported by Game Boost mode and memory expansion for more stable multitasking and consistent performance across multiple apps.

The vivo Y31d is available starting at Php 13,999 through vivo stores nationwide and online via the vivo e-store, Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop.

As routines continue to blend work, family and personal time, staying connected has become less of a choice and more of a daily necessity. For today’s fathers, it is what keeps everything in motion, even on the busiest days.

How vivo X300 Ultra is shaping the future of mobile filmmaking

As short-form video, vlogging, and mobile filmmaking continue to grow, smartphone manufacturers are placing greater emphasis on professional-grade video capabilities. vivo is making its latest entry into that conversation with the vivo X300 Ultra, a flagship device equipped with advanced recording, color management, and audio features designed for content creators.

The company recently highlighted the smartphone's video performance in a TikTok video demonstrating its ability to capture footage in 4K at 120 frames per second (fps) using 10-bit Log recording. The showcase focused on preserving detail in fast-moving scenes and challenging lighting conditions, underscoring a broader shift toward professional video production on mobile devices.

At the center of the vivo X300 Ultra's video system is support for Multi-Focal 4K 120fps 10-Bit Log Video across all rear cameras. The format provides increased color depth and dynamic range compared with standard video recording modes, giving creators greater flexibility during post-production and color grading.
The device also introduces a redesigned Pro Video Mode featuring controls inspired by professional cinema cameras. Users can apply custom 3D LUTs for real-time preview while recording Log footage, allowing them to visualize color treatments before editing. The smartphone also supports the Academy Color Encoding System, or ACES, a standardized color management workflow widely used across the film and television industry.

Audio recording has likewise received attention. The vivo X300 Ultra features Quad-Mic Audio Recording Master technology, supported by Audio Recording Presets tailored for different shooting scenarios. The system is designed to prioritize target sound sources while reducing surrounding noise, helping improve audio quality during interviews, events, and outdoor recordings.

For monitoring footage, the smartphone is equipped with a 6.82-inch 2K ZEISS Master Color Display with a resolution of 1440 x 3168 and a pixel density of 510 pixels per inch. The display supports Dolby Vision, Ultra XDR, and vivo's ecosystem-level color management system, which aims to maintain color consistency from capture through playback.

The device is also engineered to support extended recording sessions. A 5,800-square-millimeter liquid cooling vapor chamber helps manage heat during demanding tasks, including prolonged 4K 120fps video capture.

The introduction of these features reflects a growing trend in mobile imaging, where smartphones are increasingly being used for content creation, independent filmmaking and professional production workflows.

As creators continue to seek more capable tools in compact form factors, the vivo X300 Ultra demonstrates how smartphone video technology is evolving beyond convenience and toward professional-grade production capabilities.

vivo V70 captures outdoor adventures like scenes from old memory

Some trips become memorable not because of where you went, but because of who you were with.

For a group of friends navigating adulthood after college, a spontaneous day in the Philippines' popular amusement park, Enchanted Kingdom, felt like stepping back into simpler times, the kind filled with endless laughter, blurry group photos, chaotic rides, and carefree moments that once defined their university days.

It's this kind of memory that the vivo V70's Film Camera Mode 3.0 is designed to preserve, not just what happened, but how it felt in the moment.
Nostalgia Filter

 Pack Film Filter

Film Camera Mode 3.0 transformed ordinary amusement park scenes into frames that felt lifted from a memory book. Under natural daylight, afternoon sunlight took on a softer glow, vibrant attractions were rendered in warm vintage tones, and candid moments carried a natural, film-like character.

Throughout the day, Enchanted Kingdom became the perfect backdrop for testing the feature. Friends posed between rides, shared spontaneous laughs, and revisited the energy they once had as students.

Whether using Pack Film, Classic Negative, Positive Film, Cold Film, Nostalgia, or Sunshine filters, each frame carries a distinct personality while preserving the emotion behind the experience.

The Pack Film filter delivered playful retro energy, while Classic Negative added timeless depth and contrast. Positive Film offered a bright and cheerful interpretation of the day, while Cold Film created a more cinematic and reflective mood. For those seeking a stronger vintage feel, Nostalgia recreated the warmth of printed photographs, while Sunshine enhanced natural light with a soft, glowing finish.

Together, these filters allow users to choose not just how a scene looks, but how they want it to be remembered.

What makes the vivo V70 stand out is how Film Camera Mode 3.0 understands that some memories are better felt than perfectly seen. Even the beginning of a trip feels like a treasured memory waiting to be revisited.

Instead of simply documenting reality, the vivo V70 romanticizes it, turning ordinary outdoor adventures into scenes that feel deeply personal, cinematic, and timeless.

Because sometimes, the best photos are the ones that bring you back to who you were during your old college days: innocent, loud, spontaneous, and surrounded by the right people.

Anne, Marian star in vivo X300 Ultra camera showdown

The new vivo X300 Ultra proved that smartphone photography can now rival professional cameras during a live fashion shoot led by renowned celebrity and fashion photographer BJ Pascual at Manila House.

Hosted by Joey Mead King and held in front of Manila’s tastemakers and notable personalities, including Georgina Wilson, Bea Soriano, and Eric Dee Jr., the showcase highlighted the imaging power of the vivo X300 Ultra beside a professional mirrorless camera setup.

The live shoot featured vivo ambassadors Anne Curtis and Marian Rivera as subjects, while BJ Pascual captured photos using both devices.

For his mirrorless setup, Pascual used three different lenses. In contrast, the vivo X300 Ultra delivered the same creative flexibility through its dual 200MP Triple ZEISS Master Lenses system, which includes:
