ABS-CBN Christmas Station ID 2012 brings inspiration and hope,  focuses on the modern day heroes and how they reach out to fellow Filipinos who are in need. It showcases modern heroes showing selfless love and courage to reach out to others in the middle of life and death situation.

This year's Christmas anthem was written by Robert Labayen, ABS-CBN's Vice President of Creative Communications Management with music by Marcus and Amber Davis. 

It was performed by an ensemble of Kapamilya artists -- Sarah Geronimo, Martin Nievera, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Vina Morales, Billy Crawford; the Champions Angeline Quinto, Yeng Constantino, Erik Santos, Jed Madela, Christian Bautista, Bugoy Drilon, Marcelito Pomoy, Jovit Baldivino; the Sessionistas Aiza Seguerra, Richard Poon, Juris, Princess, Sitti, Kean Cipriano and Bamboo; X Factor Philippines Grand Winner KZ Tandingan, kid singers from ABS-CBN Star Magic; Daniel Padilla and Piolo Pascual.Other Kapamilya stars featured in the Station ID include Coco Martin, Toni Gonzaga, Judy Ann Santos, Jodi Sta. Young JV is ‘Doin’ It Big’ in PH Music Scene

 YOUNG JV, a Filipino Popular R&B singer,  hip hop/rapper, announced the release of his debut album under Star Records titled “Doin’ it Big!” at a press conference last Friday, October 12.

According to the singer-actor, who also performs in ABS-CBN’s top-rating Sunday musical variety show “ASAP 2012,” his first album in his new recording label is extra-special for him as it presents the listeners everything that he can do as an artist.

“We worked on it for a year and we basically did a lot of styles of music that the youth and young adults will surely appreciate–from hip hop, R&B, acoustic, house, and more. And through it, I was able to shows my different emotions,” said Young JV, who starred in a number of teleseryes and was part of Sarah Geronimo and Gerald Anderson’s blockbuster movie hit “Won’t Last A Day Without You.”

Produced by Star Records and Doin’ It Big Productions, “Doin’ It Big” features 10 tracks including its carrier single-turned-dance-craze ‘Your Name’ which Young JV sang with Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition 4 big winner Myrtle Sarrosa. Also part of the album are his special collaborations ‘Boy Meets Girl’ with Yeng Constantino, ‘Alay’ with Akiko, ‘Rock This Town’ with Laze and Yumi, and ‘Hurts So Bad’ with Karylle. Completing the tracklist are ‘Get Up And Dance,’ ‘Kailan Kaya,’ ‘Tanong,’ ‘Got To Have You,’ and ‘Pinas.’

Just Beyond The Sunset, Lies A Home For Me

I enjoy waiting and looking at the sunset, until watching the Roxas Boulevard's night time while having my time at the deck of the room at Grand Riviera Suites.

Something about sunrise and sunsets, it fascinates me. I love one poem speaks of hope and faith that keeps us going.
