Jollibee surprises holiday commuters with free Chickenjoy during their ride home! The fast food brand touches hearts and highlights the importance of coming home for the holidays

Being away from loved ones regularly can be difficult, which is why the holidays have become such an important season to reunite families. But these days, traveling back home to provinces and far-flung areas can be extra tiresome with the heavy traffic, long commuting lines, and hectic holiday rush. This can take a toll on Filipinos mentally and emotionally, especially when all they’re thinking about is going home to celebrate the most joyful time of the year with the most important people in their lives.

This Christmas, Jollibee helps Filipinos go home to their families with a little more love—and a lot of joy. Holiday commuters in select provincial bus routes received a special surprise from Jollibee on their way home. Hundreds of free Chickenjoy buckets and Jollibee gift certificates were distributed to the lucky commuters, perfect for sharing with the families that eagerly awaited them at home.

Passengers were all smiles, some even in tears! “Ito po, pagsasalubong namin sa mga apo,” one of them said, holding on to the Chickenjoy bucket in gratitude. Another expressed joy being able to see the Jollibee mascot live: “Masaya po talaga na nakita namin sa personal si Jollibee. Nagyon lang po namin nakita si Jollibee.”

“We wanted to make the ride home of the hardworking Filipinos extra special with a little surprise from Jollibee, especially with all the Christmas rush and anticipation to get home to spend time with their families,” Jollibee Philippines’ Marketing AVP for Bestsellers Category Cathleen Capati said. “As a family-centric brand, we do believe that being with family amid busy schedules and other separation factors is the most precious and meaningful way to spend the festive holidays—along with everyone’s favorite Chickenjoy!”

BRIA Homes in 2019: Providing Homes for All Filipinos

When BRIA Homes came into the property development scene, it hit the ground, building. Driven by its markedly simple vision, which is to address the serious housing backlog in the Philippines, BRIA charged right ahead in providing homes to ordinary Filipinos. It was this vision, and its commitment to it, that earned for BRIA the distinction of being the fastest-growing mass housing developer in the country today.

In 2019, BRIA Homes, the fastest-growing mass housing developer in the Philippines today, built more projects in progressive towns and cities—sustainable residential communities defined by lush, green spaces and an eco-friendly environment.

Indeed, BRIA Homes is now a dominant player in the socialized and economic housing sector of the local real estate industry.

BRIA’s significant accomplishments in 2019 bear this out.

BRIA Homes has built affordable, superior-quality abodes in more than 50 projects across the Philippines’s progressive town and cities, and continues to expand to more localities in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

To date, BRIA has over 50 projects nationwide—in Bataan, Pangasinan, Pampanga, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, Rizal, Camarines Sur, Samar, Leyte, Negros Oriental, Misamis Oriental, Bukidnon, Davao Del Norte, Davao Del Sur, North Cotabato and South Cotabato, to name just a few of the country’s progressive towns and cities. And more projects are underway as BRIA continues to expand in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

This year, BRIA crafted its winning formula—Affordability (Mura) + Quality (Dekalidad) = A Beautiful BRIA Home for Every Filipino—which emboldened ordinary Filipinos to buy their own home. With its affordable monthly amortizations and convenient payment schemes such as bank financing and Pag-IBIG funding, aspiring homeowners were able to move into their dream BRIA Homes located in family-friendly, wholesome, safe and secure communities.

BRIA Homes’ winning formula—Affordability (Mura) + Quality (Dekalidad) = a Beautiful BRIA Home for Every Filipino—made it easy for hardworking ordinary Filipinos all over the country to live in modern homes and enjoy comfortable lifestyles.

BRIA’s happy homeowners will attest to this, affirming the story of BRIA Homes’ first viral video in 2019, “Lipat-Bahay,” which garnered more than 2.3M views.

For prospective residents who opted for cozy, compact, and fuss-free living, BRIA continued to offer midrise condo homes—well-designed 22-square-meter units conveniently located near the town’s or city’s key destinations.

In the same year, BRIA reached out to more ordinary Filipinos by participating in popular television shows such as Eat Bulaga, Magandang Buhay, Wowowin, Wishcovery, and The Clash Season 2, giving away new house-and-lot units to these shows’ lucky contest winners.

Yes, 2019 was the year scores of hardworking Filipinos experienced the joys of modern living in BRIA Homes that are located close to key destinations—and to modes of public transport, major roads and highways.

BRIA Homes has always put a premium on its homeowners’ leisure and well-being. Thus, covered basketball courts kept BRIA’s resident families happily engaged in fun weekend games.

Now the year 2020 looks bright for BRIA Homes and for its current and prospective residents, as the company rides on the momentum generated by its steadfast commitment: to provide homes to all Filipinos. In 2020, things are looking up for Bria.

BRIA’s safe, secure, and family-friendly communities are all equipped with play areas where children can expend excess energy while their moms and dads bond with other couples.
