Chronic stress also triggers inflammation, high blood pressure, and unhealthy changes in the body. If you suffer from this, meditation, yoga, and deep breathing are your best friends.

Dr. Leachon added that if you’re experiencing chest pain or discomfort, shortness of breath, sweating, unusual tiredness, sudden dizziness, nausea or vomiting, or cold sweat, inform your doctor right away.
