Miley Cyrus extends reign in the Philippine music charts with the release of new album, Endless Summer Vacation

The critically acclaimed record peaked at No. 1 on iTunes Philippines, while its carrier single ‘Flowers” continues to deliver numbers


Miley Cyrus’ highly anticipated eighth studio album, Endless Summer Vacation, is on track to become one of the biggest albums in the Philippines this week in terms of digital sales and streaming. The critically acclaimed record reached No. 1 on iTunes Philippines during its first day of release, while its carrier single “Flowers” recently peaked at No. 1 and No. 2 on the iTunes and Spotify Philippines charts, respectively.

Alongside the album’s release, Miley launched the official video for new track “River,” directed by Jacob Bixenman.

Endless Summer Vacation features Miley’s hit single “Flowers” plus twelve additional tracks. A true worldwide smash, “Flowers” spent six weeks at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100—a personal best for Miley. “Flowers” is #1 on US Pop Radio and is the fastest running song in nearly a decade to achieve that position. Additionally, it is the fastest song in history to hit 500 million streams on Spotify. “Flowers'' is officially the longest running UK #1 single by a female solo artist.

In a recently shared clip, Miley gave insight into Endless Summer Vacation.. She notes, “When it comes to the sequencing of Endless Summer Vacation, I divided it by two parts: AM and PM - to kind of represent almost like an act. The AM to me is representing the morning time, where there is a buzz and an energy and a there’s potential of new possibilities. It’s a new day. And in the nighttime, it feels like there is a slinky, seediness and kind of a grime, but a glamour at the same time. In the evening, it’s a great time for rest, a time to recover – or it’s a time to go out and experience the wild side. How P&G navigates the workplace landscape post-pandemic

This includes re-purposing its manufacturing plant to produce and donate over 3 million medical-grade face masks to DOH and front liners hospitals, donating P&G health and hygiene products, and building health and hygiene infrastructures for DepEd schools, LGUs, government hospitals, public areas, and transport terminals.

Recently, P&G donated over Php 650,000.00 worth of P&G home and personal care products to the Presidential Commission for the Urban Poor (PCUP) to aid communities in need during PCUP’s first-ever PWD and Senior Assembly during Urban Poor Solidarity Week. In collaboration with the Manila Water Foundation, the company also donated over Php 1.8 million in P&G Vicks' newest product, ZzzQuil melatonin gummies, to over 4,000 Business Process Outsourcing workers to promote health through proper rest.

Palo Alto Networks appoints KP Unnikrishnan as New Chief Marketing Officer

 Lisa Sim assumes the role as Head of Marketing, Asia Pacific & Japan

Palo Alto Networks marketing veteran KP Unnikrishnan (Unni) has been elevated to the position of Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). He will be based in the company’s Santa Clara, California headquarters and report directly to Palo Alto Networks Chairman and CEO, Nikesh Arora.

A seasoned executive with broad international experience, Unni has a proven track record of helping organisations envision their marketing strategy and develop an economic business case. He most recently served as Vice President, Marketing, Asia Pacific and Japan for almost a decade. A transformative marketer with a growth mindset, Unni will lead the global marketing team to further strengthen the positioning of Palo Alto Networks as the distinctive leader in cybersecurity.
