How the OPPO A6 Pro Helps Barbie Forteza Navigate Her Busy, Non-stop Life

Whether she’s filming a primetime series, heading to a movie premiere, or going to an event, Barbie Forteza keeps audiences captivated with her talent, wit, and versatility. From her standout start as a young actor to her award-winning performances, Barbie has built a career defined by talent and hustle,  serving as an inspiration to many young Filipinos.

Behind her every long day and night, there’s a reliable pocket companion that keeps her going—her OPPO A6 Pro. That steady reliability fits into any routine: work, study, or even a night out with friends.

Smart and tough for her daily demands

Showbiz schedules are anything but predictable, and Barbie needs a phone that can keep pace from call time to curtain call. The OPPO A6 Pro is built smart and tough for her hectic days.

Behind the scenes, its AI Smart Office feature becomes her quiet productivity partner. Long scripts are quickly summarized before rehearsals, interview questions translated on the fly, and notes analyzed in seconds—making it easier to stay prepared even with limited downtime.

When glam time hits, AI Editor helps her polish quick takes and BTS shots she can share between scenes, while AI Studio provides fresh suggestions for her wardrobe by providing generated portraits in various styles.

Whether she’s rushing between tapings or squeezing in interviews between scenes, the OPPO A6 Pro takes sudden weather shifts in stride. Its IP69 protection shrugs off splashes and damp hands as she reviews scripts or checks schedules on the move, while military-grade shock resistance adds resilience against bumps and slips of a packed day on set.

Long Lasting Power for Long Days

When the workday starts before sunrise and wraps long after sunset, battery life is a non-negotiable for Barbie. The A6 Pro answers her need with a 7,000mAh Ultra-Large Battery (6,500mAh for 5G variant) built to last the day even with heavy usage. Battery Care features support long-term reliability, matching the consistency Barbie brings to set.

When it’s time to plug in, its 80W SUPERVOOC™ Flash Charge juices up the battery quickly, ready for another round of all-day use.

Barbie’s choice for her hustle: the OPPO A6 Pro

On set, at work, or out in the city, it’s her OA sa Galing, OA sa Tibay, OA sa Swabe companion—prepared, unbothered, and ready for what’s next. Origin Island boosts productivity on vivo X300 Series

The vivo X300 Series introduces Origin Island, a new system-level feature designed to improve multitasking and reduce the number of steps needed to complete everyday tasks.

Origin Island acts as an intelligent interaction layer that allows users to move, copy, and act on information more efficiently across apps. The feature targets common productivity pain points such as frequent app switching, repetitive actions, and interrupted workflows.

Drag and Go simplifies cross-app sharing

One of Origin Island’s core features is Drag and Go, which allows users to transfer content directly between apps through a long press and drag motion.

Instead of switching interfaces, users can extract content and drag it straight to their target app. This supports real-time syncing of emails, documents, music, and meeting materials, making it easier to manage tasks during work or meetings.

For example, users can select a photo and drag it directly into a chat or social media app. Text from a webpage can also be dragged into Notes for quick saving. The feature reduces repetitive steps and helps maintain focus while working.

Copy and Go turns copied content into actions

Another key feature is Copy and Go, which converts copied information into instant action options.

When users copy content such as phone numbers, URLs, or meeting links, Origin Island automatically detects the data and displays relevant actions. Options such as Call, Message, Add Contact, Add to Calendar, or Open Webpage appear without the need to open another app.

The system integrates with core services including Google Meet, the vivo dialer, and the browser. This allows users to move from copying information to executing tasks in a single step.

For instance, copying a phone number immediately prompts a call option, while copying a meeting link opens it directly in a video conferencing app.

Designed for everyday efficiency

With Drag and Go and Copy and Go, Origin Island focuses on reducing friction in daily smartphone use. By minimizing app switching and manual steps, the vivo X300 Series positions itself as a productivity-focused device for both professional and personal use.

Origin Island reflects vivo’s approach to user-centered design, emphasizing speed, simplicity, and smarter interactions in an increasingly fast-paced digital environment.

Priced starting at Php 67,999, the vivo X300 Series is available in vivo concept stores nationwide and online via vivo e-store, Lazada, and Shopee.

A legacy fulfilled: Lisa Macuja Elizalde marks 40th homecoming celebration with a season of curated performances and a landmark collaboration with The Dawn

Exactly forty years ago, Lisa Macuja Elizalde made the defining choice to leave behind a flourishing career at the Kirov Ballet (now Mariinksy Ballet) in Moscow and return to the Philippines. That homecoming became the cornerstone of her mission to bring ballet to the people and people to ballet, a mission that has shaped generations of dancers and audiences.

(second row) The Dawn members Bim Yance, Rommel Sanchez, Jun Boy Leonor, Francis Reyes and Jett Pangan; Ballet Manila CEO and artistic director Lisa Macuja-Elizalde, associate artistic director and resident choreographer Gerardo Francisco Jr., and resident choreographer Martin Lawrence; The Manila Symphony Orchestra president Maan Hontiveros and music director Maestro Marlon Chen

Forty years later, Lisa marks her homecoming milestone through Ballet Manila’s PRIMA Performance Season, a curated program of classical works that highlight the company’s Vaganova roots and its commitment to sustaining excellence while making ballet accessible to Filipinos. The landmark year also features a special collaboration with The Dawn, staged at Aliw Theater on February 20 and 21 at 8:00 p.m. Both Lisa and The Dawn are icons of their generations, and this production links their parallel 40-year journeys through a fusion of ballet and rock music. The performance will showcase some of The Dawn’s most popular and iconic songs reimagined through dance, underscoring Ballet Manila’s continuing effort to make ballet relevant and accessible.

The collaboration is being presented as part of the Ballet & Ballads series and produced by Manila Broadcasting Company (MBC). A brainchild of Fred J. Elizalde in the early years of Ballet Manila, Ballet & Ballads has contributed immensely to the mission and vision of Macuja-Elizalde to make classical ballet more accessible to the general public by performing alongside mainstream artists and keeping ticket prices either free or minimal.

From Ballet & Ballads, the PRIMA Performance Season of Ballet Manila will unfold with a series of landmark productions. Sleeping Beauty will be staged on March 14 and 15, 2026 at Aliw Theater, accompanied by the Manila Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Maestro Alexander Vikulov. The season continues with Paquita on June 20 and 21, 2026, featuring a showcase of the company’s Vaganova heritage and classical precision. Finally, the season will culminate with La Bayadère on August 22 and 23, 2026, featuring the triumphant return of guest artists Renata Shakirova and Kimin Kim of the Mariinsky Ballet, who made their Philippine debut in 2025 with Don Quixote.

Reflecting on the milestone, Lisa shared: “Forty years ago, I came home with a mission to make ballet part of Filipino life. To see that vision continue through Ballet Manila and the PRIMA performance season is deeply meaningful not just for me but for everyone in the company. It proves that ballet can endure, adapt, and belong to everyone.”

Other performances throughout the year include Ibong Adarna in Dumaguete in February and at Ateneo’s Areté in October, an international tour in Kuala Lumpur in September, and the Holiday Cheer Series in December.

These events frame 2026 not only as a year full of performances but as a cultural cycle completed, a legacy fulfilled, and a future opened by a ballerina who chose to come home even while at the cusp of international success.

Lisa Macuja Elizalde’s 40th homecoming year is more than a personal milestone. It is a testament to endurance, to the completeness of a vision, and to the fulfillment of a promise —that ballet also belongs to the Filipino people.
