HONOR Magic V6 Now Up for Pre-Order at Php 119,999 with FREE HONOR Pad X8b worth Php 12,999

HONOR Magic V6 is now available for pre-order and get FREE HONOR Pad X8b

Global leading AI device ecosystem company and foldable industry leader HONOR today announced the launch of the HONOR Magic V6. Combining an ultra-slim profile with record-breaking battery endurance and flagship-grade durability, the HONOR Magic V6 is now available for pre-order for only Php 119,999 from August 25 to September 4, 2026.

“The future of foldable technology is about pushing boundaries without asking users to compromise,” said Stephen Cheng, Vice President of HONOR Philippines. “With the HONOR Magic V6, we set out to deliver a foldable experience that brings together a refined design and dependable durability.”

Uncompromising Durability, Ultra-Slim Design

The HONOR Magic V6 boasts an impressively slim profile, measuring just 8.75 mm when folded and 4.0 mm when unfolded (white version), with a lightweight design of around 219g— delivering an in-hand feel closer to a traditional slab smartphone than a conventional foldable.

As the innovator that redefined the foldable category, HONOR delivers an ultra-thin form factor that makes absolutely zero compromises on durability. At its core is the HONOR Super Steel Hinge, featuring an industry-leading tensile strength of 2800 MPa. Reinforced by an AI-assisted bionic cushioning system, developed through thousands of simulations, the hinge structure effectively absorbs impact and evenly distributes force during accidental drops and everyday use.

The inner display utilizes UTG flexible glass for a near-zero crease visual experience, while the outer display is reinforced by the HONOR Anti-scratch NanoCrystal Shield. This ultra-precise silicon nitride coating features up to 5,600 layers, significantly improving durability and wear resistance while minimizing reflectivity. Certified with IP68 and IP69 ratings under IEC 60529 standards, the Magic V6 offers flagship-level resistance to water, dust, and high-pressure sprays—a rarity in the foldable market.

The device also features a 6.52-inch outer display and a 7.95-inch inner foldable display, both supporting adaptive 1–120 Hz refresh rates. The outer display reaches a peak brightness of 6,000 nits, while the inner display hits 5,000 nits. Combined with an ultra-low reflectivity of 1.5%, visibility remains excellent even in direct sunlight. Both screens feature advanced eye-comfort technologies, including 4320Hz PWM dimming, ensuring comfortable viewing experience during extended use.

Enduring Power, Elite Performance

Equipped with a massive 6,660mAh HONOR Silicon-carbon Battery, the Magic V6 houses the largest battery ever seen in a foldable smartphone. With roughly 25% silicon content and an energy density of 921Wh/L, it delivers exceptional capacity without adding bulk.

Powered by the Snapdragon® 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform with an advanced 3nm process, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, the HONOR Magic V6 offers elite performance across gaming, multitasking, and productivity. Enhanced by a full-stack Vulkan graphics engine, it seamlessly supports 120 FPS in demanding mainstream titles on the large inner display, setting a new benchmark for foldable performance.

The device also supports 80W Wired and 66W Wireless HONOR SuperCharge, alongside Wireless Reverse Charging. HONOR's proprietary system technologies—including the HONOR E2 Power Enhanced Chip and advanced RF enhancements—maximize power efficiency and ensure rock-solid connectivity, delivering a true, uncompromised flagship experience.

Intelligent Imaging and Cross-Ecosystem Productivity

The HONOR Magic V6 delivers intelligent imaging and productivity in one seamless experience. The HONOR AI Falcon Camera System features a 50MP Ultra Light Sensitive Main Camera, a 64MP Ultra Sensing Periscope Telephoto Camera with a 1/2-inch sensor and CIPA 6.5-stop image stabilization, and a 50MP Ultra-Wide Camera, ensuring stunning results in low-light, long-range, and everyday scenarios. A suite of AI-powered features—including AI Color Engine, Magic Color 2.0, Magic Video Color, and AI Image to Video 2.0—elevates the creative process with real-time optimization, cinematic color grading, and intelligent posing guidance.

Running on MagicOS 10, the Magic V6 offers HONOR's most comprehensive AI experience yet. Its suite of HONOR AI Agents—including AI Settings Agent, AI Photos Agent, AI Suggestion, and AI Screen Suggestions—provides intuitive assistance across content creation, meeting workflows, intent recognition, and on-screen contextual actions.

To maximize the inner display's potential, HONOR introduces Fast Flex—activating a dual split-screen mode via a simple folding motion—alongside PC-level Multi-Flex, putting an ultrawide monitor right in your pocket. Powered by a Vulkan graphics engine and desktop-grade architecture, it delivers PC-like smoothness across three simultaneous apps, effortlessly handling files over 1GB.

Breaking down ecosystem barriers, the Magic V6 connects seamlessly with iPhone, Mac, AirPods, and Apple Watch via HONOR Share for one-tap file transfers, notification sharing, and dual-screen Mac workflows.

The HONOR Magic V6 also works with Quick Share for app-free file transfers between Android™ and compatible Apple devices, making sharing easier, no matter the device you have.

HONOR Magic V6 with Google Gemini

HONOR Magic V6 with Google Gemini allows users to interact seamlessly via text, voice, or image comprehensive assistance on the go. Share your camera or screen in Gemini Live conversations to ask about anything you see, and whether you're at home or on the go, talk through your schedule, manage your to-do list or take action in Gemini Live with connected apps. It also offers a three-month trial of Google AI Pro at no cost, providing higher access to the best of Gemini, including new and powerful features in the Gemini app like video generation powered by Veo 3.1, Nano Banana Pro image generation, the AI filmmaking tool Flow, the AI research assistant NotebookLM, plus 5TB of cloud storage.

Gadget Pilipinas’ Gian Viterbo Takes on the HONOR X9d 5G Ultimate Plane Drop Challenge! Did It Survive?

No case. No mercy. HONOR X9d 5G faced yet another extreme durability test—an actual high altitude drop test from an ultralight plane.

Starting the year with a total bang! Leading global AI smart devices provider HONOR Philippines unveils its most explosive release yet—the HONOR X9d 5G. Positioned as the toughest mid-range smartphone of the year, the latest addition to the X Series is built to withstand extreme challenges while delivering powerful everyday performance.

Since the launch of the X9 Series in the Philippines in 2023, HONOR has built a reputation as an innovative technology brand known for putting smartphone durability to the ultimate test. From the debut of the HONOR X9a 5G—famously dropped under five feet and featured in viral smash tests—the ultra-tough HONOR X9b 5G, which endured an intense 50-foot drop, each generation has pushed the boundaries of what mid-range smartphones can withstand.

This legacy continued with the launch of the HONOR X9c 5G in January 2025, which quickly became the most anticipated device in the X Series, thanks to its Triple-Defense mechanism and headline-making helicopter drop test and Guinness World Records for “The Most People Performing a Mobile Phone Drop Test Simultaneously.

Now, HONOR raises the bar even higher. To prove the next evolution of toughness, the all-new HONOR X9d 5G was subjected to its most extreme challenge yet—an ultra-intense high-altitude drop test.

“Year after year, HONOR fans and consumers push us to go beyond expectations, and that inspires everything we do,” said Stephen Cheng, Vice President of HONOR Philippines. “The HONOR X9d 5G was designed with Filipino users in mind—combining toughness, innovation, especially value. Our extreme durability tests reflect our confidence in delivering a device that can keep up with real life challenges.”

And now the ultimate question remains—can the HONOR X9d 5G survive an extreme high-altitude drop from the plane? Let’s find out!

The Ultimate Phone Drop Challenge:

Gian Viterbo VS HONOR X9d 5G

To ensure credibility and transparency, HONOR Philippines invited one of its trusted media partners, Gadget Pilipinas’ Editor-in-Chief Gian Viterbo, to take part in the ultimate phone drop challenge, releasing the device from an ultralight plane at a speed of 60 km/hr.

“I said YES to the ultimate phone drop test challenge as a consumer, because I was genuinely curious about the result. I knew the risks and factors at hand, and I really wanted to know if the HONOR X9d would really survive,” expressed by Gian Viterbo, EIC of Gadget Pilipinas.

Viterbo even said that experience was ultra exhilarating. It was not just a history for him but also for the tech industry to have a phone dropped from a plane to test its durability. And when asked about the result of the durability test, “I expected its screen and body to be rendered useless, I was honestly more interested in whether I would still be able to recover my files. With this expectation, I was surprised that durability meant two things for HONOR X9d – it is durable enough to withstand the hardest conditions, and if it ever gets scratched or damaged, it is durable enough to keep my files intact. And that is the true durability,” added by Gian Viterbo.

A Look Back on How HONOR X9 Series Became the No. 1 Mid-range Smartphone in PH

It has now become a tradition for HONOR to launch its biggest hit X9 series every January

Leading global AI smart devices provider HONOR Philippines has dominated the mid-range smartphone market with its iconic and biggest hit smartphone market with its iconic and biggest hit HONOR X9 series. Started with HONOR X9a 5G in 2023, HONOR has been dropping hits after hit, literally. At this point, the new year's campaign of the viral phone series has already become a tradition.

“When we launched HONOR X9a 5G, we literally had zero expectations. What we had was hope and confidence in our capabilities, and then it exceeded all expectations. We did not let the success get into our heads; we just thought it was beginner’s luck. So, we leveled up with HONOR X9b 5G, and again it became a massive hit. Then HONOR X9c 5G came and it was our biggest feat yet, outdoing everything we’ve done in 2023 and 2024,” said HONOR Philippines Vice President Stephen Cheng.

The HONOR X9 series has been synonymous with its exceptional durability, raising the bar year after year. What began with 5-foot drop tests evolved into a 50-foot intense drop test-- and this year, HONOR X9c pushed to the extreme, dropped from a helicopter hundreds of feet above ground, further proving its unmatched toughness.

“One can only think about how we can even top the past three generations of HONOR X9 series. We must admit, it has become a challenge at this point, but with the technology and talent we have at HONOR, it is indeed a good challenge. I’m very excited for everyone to witness what we have been planning for the past few months,” Cheng continued.

That unforgettable moment—when 264 brave participants dropped their HONOR X9c 5G simultaneously—earned HONOR a coveted spot in the Guiness World Records for “The Most People Performing a Mobile Phone Drop Test Simultaneously.” This historic feat positioned HONOR Philippines as a benchmark in delivering credible, impactful messaging, reinforcing HONOR’s place as the standard for innovation, durability, and trust with the Filipino consumers.

The question remains, is HONOR ready to follow the success of the past HONOR X9 series? Stay tuned.

HONOR Launches MagicOS 10: The World’s First Self‑Evolving AI Agent Operating System

HONOR unveils a comprehensive AI Device Ecosystem Strategy

Leading AI smart devices provider HONOR Philippines announced MagicOS 10 at its inaugural Global Developer Conference in Shenzhen, introducing the world’s first AI agent operating system with self‑evolving capabilities and signaling the industry’s shift from the OS era to the AI OS era.

HONOR also unveiled its 1×3×N ecosystem strategy alongside an upgraded HONOR AI Connect platform. The framework opens HONOR’s AI stack to partners worldwide (the “1”), supports them with three enablement tracks—ecosystem, channel, and technology & brand (the “3”)—and scales across multiple industry clusters (the “N”), including education and office, smart home, audio and wearables, toys, and pets.

James Li, CEO of HONOR

“A true AI OS must be an agentic OS that accomplishes a human‑centric value leap while possessing self‑evolving capability,” said James Li, CEO of HONOR. “HONOR is committed to collaborating with users, industry partners, and the developer ecosystem. User co‑creation, industry symbiosis, and ecosystem co‑prosperity jointly form the three driving forces behind our MagicOS evolution.”

Defining the AI OS paradigm: From OS to AI OS

MagicOS 10 makes a multi‑dimensional leap from a conventional OS to a true AI OS. It pivots from basic device‑cloud coordination to an agent‑centric model, unlocking greater intelligence.

At the core of MagicOS 10 is a new and improved YOYO, now equipped with agentic capabilities to see, remember and execute, powered by HONOR’s proprietary MagicLM 3.0. With one tap, users can ask YOYO to handle everyday tasks and creative workflows—such as AI‑powered color grading with Magic Color, complex command‑based image editing, and actions like food ordering, shopping, and ride‑hailing.

As multi‑device usage grows, MagicOS 10 is the first OS in the industry to fully break down platform boundaries, enabling seamless transfer of images, videos, and documents across HONOR, iOS, Android and Windows devices, bringing users unparalleled convenience and efficiency.

MagicOS 10 also debuts the new Zero‑Gravity Transparency Design, bringing system‑wide transparent visual effects—from lock screen to desktop to in‑app views—with no increase in power consumption, balancing aesthetics with performance. Additionally, the enhanced AI Deepfake Detection intelligently identifies fake voices, deepfake filters, and scam scripts to safeguard users.

HONOR AI Connect and 1×3×N Ecosystem Strategy

Launched in 2022, the HONOR Connect platform has already linked more than 30 million devices, laying a strong foundation for interconnectivity. Today, HONOR is upgrading to the HONOR AI Connect platform, leaping from interconnect to intelligent connect through comprehensive AI enablement.

HONOR AI Connect is built to lower partner onboarding barriers and reduce development costs. Developers can tap mature multimodal interaction capabilities—voice, vision, and more—without rebuilding complex base platforms, and access cross‑scenario AI collaborative services. By systematically opening intelligent connectivity capabilities, the platform enables intelligence sharing, entry sharing, and ecosystem sharing—empowering every device to be intelligent.

HONOR has already partnered with more than 200 ecosystem partners and introduced a program that offers free IoT connectivity to deliver best‑in‑class value. Through initiatives such as the HONOR Alpha Flagship Store and broader store access programs, HONOR provides more substantial resources and growth support to partners, co‑creating a human‑centric innovative ecosystem.

Looking ahead, HONOR remains committed to open collaboration—inviting global partners to co‑build the AI device ecosystem so intelligent technology benefits everyone, and to jointly usher in the next stage of AI device OS development.

Positioned as a durable entry-level phone, the latest HONOR X7d showcases comprehensive drop protection with prestigious SGS Premium Performance Certification of Drop & Crush Resistance, offering impressive resistance to drops from heights of up to 1.8 meters. The corners reinforced by Rhinoceros-like structure Bulletproof Vests Design, Cushioning and Fall Protection Architecture and Decentralized Force Design safeguards the phones from different daily impacts.

Equipped with an IP65 Water Resistance, the HONOR X7d’s robust design is further enhanced, making it not afraid of washing, rinsing and water spray. This device has been tested to function after being submerged in water for up to 1 minute at a depth of 0.5 meter, making it a dependable companion in various settings and situations. Meanwhile, with the Wet-hand Touch Enhancement, users can also have smooth experience even with wet or greasy fingers.
