vivo V80 Lite now available nationwide, with 3 reasons to own it

Customers who pre-ordered the vivo V80 Lite can claim their devices in vivo stores nationwide, where customers lined up on October 17 to get their hands on the Guinness World Records-holding smartphone.

With the device now available for purchase, Filipinos can consider three practical reasons to own it: extended battery life, battery technology designed for demanding conditions, and durability for everyday use.

Priced starting at Php 24,999, the vivo V80 Lite arrives as the Philippines prepares for the effects of a strong El Niño event and continued hot weather. Its features address everyday concerns for users who spend long hours outdoors, commute daily, or need their phones to remain powered through interruptions to their routines.

1.  A large battery for days when power is uncertain

The Department of Energy and climate scientists have warned that the ongoing El Niño event could put additional pressure on the country's energy supply. The phenomenon is expected to peak between October and December 2026 and may persist into the first half of 2027, raising concerns about possible power disruptions.

The vivo V80 Lite features a 10,000mAh BlueVolt battery tested to last more than a day under specified usage conditions. Its reverse-charging capability can also supply power to compatible devices, including other phones and mini fans, offering an additional source of power when outlets are unavailable.

For commuters, outdoor workers, and households managing potential interruptions to electricity, a larger battery can help keep essential mobile functions available for longer without frequent charging.
2.  Battery technology built for demanding temperatures

Extreme heat during Super El Niño is another consideration for Filipinos who rely on their phones throughout the day. Heat can affect battery performance and long-term battery health, making battery design an important factor for people who regularly use their devices outdoors.

The vivo V80 Lite uses a second-generation semi-solid electrolyte battery designed to support stable, reliable endurance in demanding conditions. This can be particularly relevant for people who use navigation, messaging, mobile payments, and other essential applications while traveling or working outside.

While no battery is immune to the effects of extreme temperatures, the technology provides an additional consideration for users choosing a phone for daily use in a hot climate.

3.  Durability for everyday wear and tear

Beyond battery life, the vivo V80 Lite has undergone military-grade durability testing, alongside tests for drops, dust, water, scratches, and wear. These tests provide a basis for evaluating how the device is designed to withstand common challenges associated with daily handling and outdoor use.

For users who regularly commute, travel between locations, or carry their phones throughout demanding workdays, durability can help reduce concerns about routine exposure to everyday hazards. As with any smartphone, however, test results do not mean the device is indestructible, and users should follow the manufacturer's care guidelines.

“The vivo V80 Lite was developed with the realities of everyday life in mind, especially for Filipinos who depend on their phones from the start of the day until they get home. With its large battery, heat-focused battery technology, and tested durability, we want to give consumers practical features they can consider when choosing their next device,” said Liu Lu, vivo Philippines Brand Marketing Director.

Customers who have yet to purchase the vivo V80 Lite can visit their nearest vivo physical store or shop through the vivo e-store and vivo Store app. The smartphone starts at Php 24,999.

vivo V80 Lite sets world record with 32-hour livestream

The vivo V80 Lite has set a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title after completing a 32-hour and 37-minute continuous livestream, marking a new milestone for the upcoming smartphone.

The livestream, conducted on August 11, 2026, in Chiang Mai, Thailand, earned the title of “The Longest Electronic Product Live Stream.” The V80 Lite remained operational throughout the challenge without interruption, putting its endurance through more than a full day of continuous broadcasting.

The record attempt was independently observed under GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS guidelines, with the 32-hour, 37-minute livestream providing a measurable test of how long the device could sustain an intensive, uninterrupted activity.

Southeast Asian creators put the phone to the test

The record-setting livestream brought together creators from across Southeast Asia, who took turns using and showcasing the V80 Lite throughout the challenge.

Representing four markets were Tang Makkaporn, a content creator and doctor from Thailand; Aedy Ashraf, an actor from Malaysia; Vince Domingo, founder and host of Philippine technology channel Unbox Diaries; and Tuấn Ngọc, a technology creator from Vietnam.

Beyond the livestream itself, the creators used the smartphone during activities around Chiang Mai, including navigation, photography, gaming, and calls. Their participation gave the endurance challenge a regional dimension, bringing together creators with different audiences and areas of expertise around one extended test.

More than 32 hours on the clock

The challenge continued through day and night as the V80 Lite maintained the livestream for 32 hours and 37 minutes before completing the record attempt.

The achievement comes ahead of the smartphone's official launch in the Philippines, where the V80 Lite will introduce vivo’s 10,000mAh BlueVolt Battery, the largest battery capacity ever offered by vivo globally.

“Setting a world record is ultimately about the test itself — how long the device can keep going and whether it can complete the challenge without interruption,” said Liu Lu, Brand Marketing Director of vivo Philippines.

“We wanted to put the V80 Lite through a demanding, measurable endurance challenge, and 32 hours and 37 minutes gave us a clear result that people can see for themselves," she added.

The vivo V80 Lite will officially launch in the Philippines on October 4 at the Market! Market! by Ayala Malls.

Here's what 10000mAh battery looks like in creator's everyday life

A smartphone can be one of the busiest things we carry, and when the battery runs low before the day winds down, it can quickly become an inconvenience.

It’s a familiar scenario that makes battery life worth a closer look. In their latest social media content, creators are featuring the newly launched vivo V80 Lite and its massive 10000mAh BlueVolt Battery, showing how it fits into different lifestyles and daily demands.

From busy workdays to much-needed breaks

A full day can mean different things to different people. For some, it involves juggling professional responsibilities and personal commitments. For others, it means exploring new places, creating content, and making time for themselves.

For Dr. Xavier, a dentist, professor, and Cebu-based food and travel blogger, a typical day can involve several roles. His routine takes him from surgery to the clinic and school before he switches to creator mode, capturing food photos, filming videos, taking selfies, and producing content along the way.

By the time he gets home and checks social media one last time, the punchline of his video says it all: his phone still has power, but he is the one ready to call it a day.

Meanwhile, as a Supermodel Universe International 2025, Filipino model, businesswoman, and actress, Yna Angela Uy's day can stretch from back-to-back meetings to a late-night shoot.

In her Instagram content, she shares how having the vivo V80 Lite helps ease charging worries, allowing her to focus on her work and creative pursuits instead of constantly thinking about her phone's battery level.

For lifestyle content creator Bernadeth, a day exploring Binondo means making room for a little bit of everything: good food, coffee stops, work, and even a quick gym session.

With plenty to see and capture along the way, she features the vivo V80 Lite’s 10000mAh BlueVolt Battery, giving her more freedom to move between activities while creating content.

The phone's 50MP Sony Main Camera and 32MP HD Selfie Camera also let her document food finds, city scenes, and selfies throughout the trip, capturing the little moments that make a day out memorable.

More freedom to get on with a full day

Though their routines differ, the creators highlight a familiar consideration for smartphone users: having enough battery to stay connected, get things done, and capture experiences without constantly looking for a power outlet.

The vivo V80 Lite's 10000mAh BlueVolt Battery is designed to support extended use, making it a practical feature for people whose days often go beyond the usual nine-to-five.

Pre-order yours now until October 16 via the vivo Store app or vivo e-store to receive perks such as a Php 1,000 discount, free vivo Buds Air3 worth Php 1,799, and a Magnetic Premium PU Leather Card Case.

Upgrade to Marian's new fave vivo V80 Lite on vivo Store app

For Marian Rivera, a busy day can mean moving from family time to work, meetings, errands, and everything in between. That’s why the Kapuso Primetime Queen is loving the new vivo V80 Lite, particularly its 10000mAh BlueVolt Battery, which gives her more power to get through the day without constantly worrying about her next charge.

In a recent Instagram post, Marian featured the vivo V80 Lite in Afterglow Pink and shared how its battery keeps up with her packed schedule.

“More than enough battery to carry me through whatever the day brings, all the way into the night, without any worries,” she wrote.

For existing vivo users looking for a phone that can keep up with their daily routines, the vivo V80 Lite is now available for pre-order until October 16 through the vivo Store app, with exclusive perks for a limited time.

Pre-order via vivo Store app or vivo e-store

Starting at Php 24,999, the vivo V80 Lite comes with a range of pre-order offers if availed via the vivo Store app or vivo e-store.

Customers who pre-order can enjoy a Php 1,000 discount, a free vivo Buds Air3 worth Php 1,799, and a Magnetic Premium PU Leather Card Case.

They can also get exclusive vivo Silver Membership privileges, a six-month extended warranty, and a six-month insurance for a broken screen worth Php 5,230 - all can be claimed and accessed via the vivo Store app.

Existing vivo users can explore the offers and pre-order directly through the vivo Store app on their current device.

Not using a vivo phone yet? You can still get the vivo V80 Lite by pre-ordering through the vivo e-store. With the pre-order period ending on October 16, interested buyers can check out the available deals before the offers expire.

More reasons to upgrade

Beyond the pre-order perks, the vivo V80 Lite’s battery capacity addresses a familiar need: having a phone that can keep up with life beyond work hours.

During the vivo V80 Lite launch at Ayala Malls Market! Market! in BGC on October 4, Marian shared how her phone is part of her morning routine. She starts her day by reading the Bible before checking emails for school updates and catching up on messages from loved ones.

“Alam kong ang daming nakaka relate dahil madalas nauubusan tayo ng battery sa dami ng chine-check natin, sa dami ng ginagawa natin, but not this time,” she said, referring to the phone’s 10000mAh BlueVolt Battery that can last all day.

Event host Mara Aquino echoed this point, noting how the vivo V80 Lite’s large battery capacity suits someone like Marian, who balances motherhood with a demanding career as an actress. With family responsibilities and work commitments competing for her time, having a phone that can keep up with her day means one less thing to worry about.

If your current phone is struggling to keep up, explore the vivo V80 Lite’s pre-order offers through the vivo Store app or vivo e-store until October 16.

vivo V80 Lite challenges the look of big-battery phones

A 10,000mAh battery may be the headline feature of the upcoming vivo V80 Lite, but it does not define the phone’s physical design. Set to launch in the Philippines on October 4, 2026, the smartphone pairs vivo’s largest battery capacity globally with a slim profile, premium finishes, and an expansive display, challenging the usual bulky look associated with large-capacity batteries.

The V80 Lite will be available in three colorways — Afterglow Pink, Emerald Green, and Dawn Black — each with a distinct finish.

Afterglow Pink features a Chromatic Meteor Finish that creates a subtle, iridescent effect across the surface. Golden light moves across pink waves and blush-toned hues, with the finish changing as the phone is tilted.

Emerald Green takes its cue from raw emerald, using a deep, understated green designed to evoke the appearance of a natural gemstone.

Dawn Black combines a deep base with a cool-toned metallic sheen, creating a restrained finish reminiscent of the first light breaking through darkness.

The design continues at the back with a floating crystal camera module, where the lenses appear to sit beneath a crystal-clear layer. A precision-machined metal ring frames the module and catches light as the phone moves.

Despite housing a 10,000mAh BlueVolt Battery, the V80 Lite is also designed to maintain a streamlined appearance. Its 1.35mm ultra-slim bezels help maximize the viewing area around its 6.83-inch display, resulting in a 94.47% screen-to-body ratio that brings content closer to the edges of the screen.

“Large battery capacity and refined design do not have to be opposing priorities,” said Liu Lu, Brand Marketing Director of vivo Philippines. “With the V80 Lite, we wanted to give users the freedom of a 10,000mAh battery while creating a device they would also want to carry and use every day. From the finishes and camera module to the slim bezels, every element was designed to balance function with a premium look.”

The result is a smartphone that puts substantial battery capacity into a form designed for everyday carry, while giving users a choice of finishes that range from iridescent pink to deep green and understated black.

The vivo V80 Lite will officially launch in the Philippines on October 4, 2026, at 10 am in Market! Market! by Ayala Malls. Follow vivo Philippines on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and X, or visit the vivo website and vivo Store app for updates and launch details.
