SWAP for Operation Blessing
As Tomato introduces their latest product line, the newest collection of Tomato Time watches called SWAP, they have also tied-up with Operation Blessing Philippines – a non-government organization that helps the underprivileged through its various programs. In this partnership, Tomato and Operation Blessing send a message that “you can be the change in a child’s life, one watch at a time.”

Operation Blessing is one of the three recipients of SWAP’s “Be the Change” advocacy campaign.  This humanitarian organization puts the face behind the timely call, “Be the Change for Hunger.” For every “Be The Change” watch set you buy, with an orange SWAP silicone strap, you provide 15 meals to hungry and malnourished children. These fashionable timepieces are available for a reasonable price of Php 850.

“We are truly thankful for our partnership with Tomato in fighting hunger in our country. As we know, more and more Filipinos are suffering from hunger. But by buying the ‘Be The Change’ watch set, you can do something to help,” said Dr. Kim April Pascual, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Operation Blessing.
“We are also grateful that of all the NGOs in the Philippines, Tomato chose Operation Blessing to be their partner in this advocacy,” she added.

Kim Chiu and Xian Lim‘s first big screen team-up in “Bakit Hindi Ka Crush Ng Crush Mo"

In continuing celebration of its 20th anniversary in the movie industry, Star Cinema creates another milestone as it returns to movie adaptation via Kim Chiu and Xian Lim‘s first big screen team-up “Bakit Hindi Ka Crush Ng Crush Mo,” a comedy movie based from the best-selling humor book by self-proclaimed ‘Internet action star’ Ramon Bautista.
“Bakit Hindi Ka Crush Ng Crush Mo” is directed by blockbuster director Bb. Joyce Bernal and under the script by Bautista himself and Carmi Raymundo, the writer of the box-office hit “It Takes A Man And A Woman;” the witty yet funny “Bakit Hindi Ka Crush Ng Crush Mo” will hit cinemas nationwide on July 31, 2013.

“Bakit Hindi Ka Crush Ng Crush Mo” is a a ‘self-help’ comedy movie about the lives of brainy ‘ugly duckling’ employee Sandy Veloso (Kim) and his rich and dashing boss Alex Prieto (Xian).
