Really, it's more fun food festival in the Philippines!
For years I have watched in many occasions with members of Philippine Military Academy cadets, regardless of rank. This is the military eating tradition as a symbol of fraternity and equality. The boodle fight is terminology for "eating combat" or "attack the food." They gather around a long table where a jumble of food is spread over banana leaves and eaten with bare hands.
Me and my friends were invited to join in Seafood Island's Robinsons Magnolia Branch. We witnessed a 15 minutes boodle eating contest among the three teams with four members, chosen from the list of this Seafood Island branch frequent diners.

Team 3 won after 6 minutes finishing the food and were given Boodle Gift Certificates as their prize.
And for our boodle fight, we had experienced the extreme bonding with rice topped with seafood, tahong, shrimps, fried fish , vegetables, serving of “bagoong” (fish paste), barbeque and mango.
Seafood Island, the home of the freshest seafood and barbeque favorites. And as Blackbeard’s Seafood Island foster Filipino values through bonding with family and friends.
The whole day is super fun spreading the boodle-licious vibes all over and trending the Boodle Day twitter seafoodisland and in facebook with hashtag #NationalBoodleDay.
Congratulations to the winners, to all who join this yummy fun Boodle fight and to Blackbeard's Seafood Island nationwide!
