Plan an adventure-filled day outdoors. Make Father’s Day more interesting and bond with the family by planning an adventure-filled day with dad. Cook his favorite food. Occasions such as Father’s Day mean malls will be jam-packed, and restaurants will have long waiting queues. Instead of spending the day at the mall, opt to celebrate at home by arranging a nice dining table set-up and cooking his favorite dishes. Adding your own touch through the dishes is another way of making this day even more special.

Have a game night. Have fun with games like charades or board games. As this day falls on a Sunday, it is the perfect opportunity to relax and spend time with loved ones. 

Make a handmade gift. Who says you need to spend a lot of money to celebrate Father’s Day? A simple handmade greeting card, letter, or even putting together basic tools that he can use to repair things at home will definitely mean the world to dad.

BEST Center extends summer sports clinic

Multi-awarded and pioneer BEST (Basketball Efficiency & Scientific Training) Center opens another set of summer sports clinic for aspiring basketball and volleyball players at the Ateneo College Covered Courts. The highly anticipated clinics for both sports will be held every Wednesdays and Saturdays from June 7 to 28, 2017, 8:00 am - 11:30 am. The basketball clinic is accepting enrollees for students in Preparatory Level and Levels 1-5 while the volleyball clinic is open to young athletes in levels 1 to 3. By hosting these sports clinics, BEST Center not only helps kids learn the basic sports skills. It also teaches them values such as discipline, camaraderie, teamwork and leadership in a fun and interactive way while they are taking a break from school.

During the Fusion 8, the most innovative gadget presented was Epson’s BT-300 Moverio smart glasses. Combined with a growing ecosystem of partners and hardware, the company recently inked a deal with drone maker DJI to equip specific models of drones with the Moverio as standard equipment. The Moverio will cost upwards of P43,000 at select Epson stores in the Philippines.
