All-new Pinoy boyband 1:43 makes music comeback

The relaunched 1:43 is composed of four stylistic and talented young men, namely Art Artienda, Ced Miranda, Jason Allen Estroso, and Wayne Avellano.

After months of preparation, the highly anticipated comeback of the foremost Filipino boyband 1:43 in the local music scene is finally happening—this time with an exciting lineup of new members.

Featuring four talented, stylish, and goodlooking young men in the persons of Art Artienda, Ced Miranda, Jason Allen Estroso, and Wayne Avellano, 1:43 will reprise its trademark of promoting and reinventing Original Pilipino Music (OPM) and bring it to a whole new level.

The revitalized band is likewise psyched to sustain its momentum from snagging the 2013 Star Awards for Music Song of the Year for “Sa Isang Sulyap Mo” and scoring the “Most Promising Performing and Recording Group” recognition in the Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation’s 45th Box-Office Entertainment Awards.

Come to think of it, the new members are no strangers to the music and entertainment industry, as they are held by their common passion for singing, dancing, and acting. Within a brief period of time, too, these young men developed excellent chemistry on and off the stage.

“This charismatic set of younger talents is poised to capture the hearts of music- and entertainment-loving Filipinos as they bring a fresher and more exciting take on music and on many other opportunities that will come their way,” said 1:43 founder and manager Chris Cahilig.

Eat Bulaga’s “Spogify” semifinalist Art Artienda is set to charm Filipino audiences with his talent and charisma as the newest 1:43 member.

Art, 20, was a semifinalist in Eat Bulaga’s “Spogify” contest and is an endorser for a whitening product. He loves singing, acting, and playing basketball. He is the lead actor in the viral short film “Pitaka.

Mr. Chinatown 2014 finalist Ced Miranda is taking a leap from his print ad and TVC stints as the newest member of the hit Pinoy boyband 1:43.
Ced, a print ad and TV commercial model, was a finalist at Mr. Chinatown in 2014. Outside of his singing and acting engagements, this 21-year-old heartthrob loves playing basketball, working out, and swimming to maintain his good physique.

Former Boys, Boys, Boys member Jason Allen Estroso is just one of the four new members of the fresher and more exciting 1:43 boyband.
Jason, 21, was a former member of dance group Boys, Boys, Boys. His hobbies and talents include dancing, singing, acting, and hitting the gym. His celebrity crushes are Liza Soberano and Kendall Jenner, while his favorite artists are Chris Brown and Justin Bieber.

Heartthrob singer-dancer-model Wayne Avellano is set to fire up the stage with his moves and grooves as the newest member of the revamped 1:43.
Last but definitely not the least, 22-year-old Wayne from Winnipeg, Canada, graduated as a medical technician. He loves weight training, dancing, singing, and acting. His favorite artist is Bruno Mars.

“Every performance is a unique and different experience for us. We are really looking forward to meeting our fans as we grow together as artists in this new journey,” the band members aver.

Aside from the monster hit “Sa Isang Sulyap Mo,” 1:43 also popularized the songs “Hayop Sa Ganda,” “Pag-Ibig na Kaya,” and “Ang Saya-Saya,” which became the official theme song of the GMA-7 sitcom “Ismol Family”.

1:43 is co-managed by Cahilig and Mario Colmenares of Primetime Events and Talent Management. For booking inquiries, interested parties may send a message at chriscahilig@gmail.com or primetimetalents@gmail.com, or through the 1:43 Facebook page.

Make Your Own Luck with Olay’s newly re-engineered formulas - Olay unveils its new and improved line for the modern Filipina

“Confidence makes me feel beautiful. I don’t think a specific color or number of circumstances define your luck. What ever makes you feel the most confident will bring you all the luck.”
                                                                                                                        -- Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach

When it comes to having flawless, youthful skin are you one of the lucky few? Olay poses this question to the modern Filipina who’s always at the top of things in doing what’s best for her. Now, there’s no need to worry about the answer, because anyone can have ageless skin thanks to the new and improved formulation for Olay White Radiance, Olay Total Effects, and Olay Regenerist.

The re-engineered formulas are backed up by thorough research and analysis from Olay’s Multi-decade and Ethnicity Study (MDE Study), together with Harvard Medical School’s Dr. Alexa Kimball. This extensive analysis of skin from a multitude of women of various age groups and ethnic backgrounds showed that 10% of women, dubbed as “the lucky few”, carry a genetic code for naturally beautiful skin that maintains its youthful look even as they age. Activating the skin’s genetic code to mimic that of the lucky few is exactly the breakthrough that Olay is eager to share with all women, because nothing should stop them from choosing to make their own luck.

Olay is Better than Ever

Olay’s re-engineered formulas now give that extra boost to let the skin’s youthful beauty shine through, while also giving the women of today the chance to take matters into their own hands.

The new Olay White Radiance Light Perfecting Essence with Pearl-Optics Complex enhances the skin’s dewy radiant aura. It does so by improving brightness, skin tone, and hydration, visibly reducing the appearance of dark spots over time. With this new formulation, you can look glowing and fresh, and feel confident even with minimal to no makeup.

The Olay Total Effects Day Moisturizer SPF 15 sets the bar higher in fighting the 7 signs of aging by further enhancing the skin’s natural self-renewal process. The Olay Total Effects series was the first mass skin care product to introduce the powerful anti-aging ingredient Niacinamide, but with Olay’s quest for improvement, the formula was boosted. The new Olay Total Effects now has VitaNiacin Complex II with Vitamins C, E, B3 and B5, along with having 50% more Vitamin E that serves as an anti-oxidant capable of defending the skin from free radicals known to cause skin-aging.

With the addition of Carob seed extract, the new Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream helps accelerate the recovery of aging skin, thanks to the added Glyco-Repair. This component activates the “ageless gene” pattern for that youthful-looking skin with reduced lines and wrinkles, and improved texture and elasticity. While also containing hyaluronic acid that aids in drawing moisture to keep your skin supple, the new Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream steps up its game as a new force in firmness

The re-engineered formula is designed to better plump skin resulting to reduced fine lines and wrinkles starting from day 1.

The Olay Promise

Many can attest to what Olay can offer, and with the grand reveal of its re-engineered line, three women stood out and took to heart what it means to #MakeYourOwnLuck.

One of which is Janella Salvador, an actress and singer with many achievements under her name. Starting her career early proves to be a daunting and demanding task, but she powers through with hard work that has led her to be one of the fastest rising stars of her generation. She professes that she’s an introvert by nature, and there are also instances when she feels she has missed out on certain experiences common to girls her age. On the up side, she’s one to always see the best in what it means to follow one’s dreams. In terms of her career, she adds, “I know I’m very blessed to be in this position because I know many girls would want to be here, and so, that is what I always think about when I think of the things I missed out on.” Just as how she is able to overcome the stresses of a busy lifestyle, Janella trusts Olay White Radiance as her best bet for her skin.

Another is Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach who is proof that people can live out their dreams if they put their heart into it. With her parents’ separation, Pia has already gone through many hardships at an early age, but her drive and determination proved to be fruitful, as she has reached her goal of being crowned Miss Universe 2015. At some point, her own family was worried about the obstacles she had to go through due to the many failures involved, but she fought on despite the difficulty. She explains, “Confidence makes me feel beautiful. I don’t think a specific color or number of circumstances define your luck. What ever makes you feel the most confident will bring you all the luck.” With Olay Total Effects, Pia believes that she gets to win over each day with confidence.

Olay Regenerist has also found a fan in a seasoned veteran of the local showbiz industry – Charo Santos-Concio. Her constant curiosity and yearning to learn has led her to master her craft in acting, hosting, producing, and managing as she slowly went up the ranks as the 1st female president of the Lopez Group of Companies’ media conglomerate. She channels all her energy in personal growth, and she never lets her age stop her.

“You can’t be defined by the world,” she quips, because age isn’t a factor in doing what you love to do. She claims, “No matter how scared I may be, if the situation calls for me to stand up for something, then I will.” Her timelessness transcends her work, and is also reflective of her ageless beauty thanks to her efforts to work towards what’s best for her – a true mark of a woman who believes in making your own luck.

Experience how it is to #MakeYourOwnLuck and discover the secret to younger-looking skin with the newly reformulated Olay White Radiance Light Perfecting Essence, Olay Total Effects Day Moisturizer SPF 15, and Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream available at Php1,299 SRP, Php799 SRP, and Php1,899 SRP respectively. While now available in Lazada and all major department stores, you can also learn more about the new line by following Olay Philippines in Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

LG Celebrates 5 Years of LG OLED TV Excellence with the Launch of 77-inch LG Signature OLED TV

Featuring Picture-on-Wall Design, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, LG OLED TV Delivers Unrivaled Home Cinema Experience

The future of home cinema entertainment has arrived with the introduction of LG Signature OLED TV in the Philippines, via an official launch ceremony at the Ascott, BGC on September 12, 2017.

LG is the pioneer in OLED technology (Organic Light Emitting Diodes). Thanks to OLED, we can now enjoy more vivid visuals like never before. Over the course of the past five years, LG has continually developed a better, more vibrant viewing experience. The result is the LG Signature OLED TV.

There is indeed cause to be excited because the pinnacle of this 5-year continuous improvement is embodied in the sleek 77-inch LG Signature OLED TV, the first LG Signature TV to be made available in the Philippines. LG Signature is the gold standard in design. Behind it is an intuitive, responsive and functional design philosophy that spells sheer elegance in simplicity.

OLED technology makes perfect blacks and perfect colors come alive, and the viewing experience is complemented by exceptional sound with the Dolby Atmos audio system. This is the first time that the Dolby Atmos has ever been featured in TV speakers. The result mimics reality on your TV. Also because of OLED, the screen is so thin, it’s picture-in-glass thin!

The result is a perfect viewing angle, wherever you are relative to the TV. Through the webOS, you can sit back and binge-watch movies and shows on Netflix for hours of non-stop excitement. No one can blame you if you never want to leave the house again!

“With Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos integrated into our newest OLED products, viewers will be able to recapture the magic of the cinema and experience their favorite movies with their original clarity, depth and imagination intact,” said Mr. Tony An, Vice President for Home Entertainment, LG Electronics Philippines. “The stunning new TVs on available in the market demonstrate our commitment to innovation and leadership in OLED Technology.”

The Men of Asian Artists Agency: When Looking For The Male Talent

So you're looking for a male talent. And you are hunting for that specific guy to play a role on tv and in a movie or perhaps, appear on your TV commercial. And maybe endorse your product. Or lend that star presence in your event. Or you may need basketball players in your sports events. Whatever your needs maybe, it is likely that you are looking for that Asian Artists Agency hombre.

The Asian Artists Agency houses: An actor-singer. A tv host-actor, author, foodie, singer, rolled into one. A travel blogger-host and singer. A theater director. A model. A basketball player. A brand ambassador-tv host and travel enthusiast. These dudes are lodged in one management agency and are available to play the part.

The Asian Artists Agency has on its roof the talents and artists: Ariel Rivera, Leo Consul, Bryan Termulo, Bobby Garcia, Kiefer Ravena, Thirdy Ravena, Raphael Banal, and Drew Arellano.

Some of them are happily married. Others prefer to be single. But all of them have their names etched in the entertainment and sports firmaments.

Bobby Garcia has always felt at home in the theater. After a few directorial jobs on television, (he was the first director of Private Conversations with Boy Abunda), and some concerts here and there, Bobby decided it is in theater where he is meant to be. He established Atlantis Productions which later became Atlantis Theatrical and Entertainment Group (ATEG) after partnering with Bobby Barreiro and Tony Tuviera. ATEG produced such musicals as Kinky Boots, Fun Home, Lion King, Jersey Boys, Bridges of Madison County, Saturday Night Fever, Shrek, Ghost, Rock of Ages, and many others. Bobby lords it over on live stage, directing and producing one musical after another.

Ariel Rivera is one celebrity who is able to keep guard on his personal life. He has kept his private life at a distance from the prying eyes of the public, but as an actor and singer, Ariel is an open book. He was first known as a singer through the hit song Sana Kahit Minsan which became an enormous success. This song was followed by the chart busting Simple Lang, and the rest, they say, is history.

With luck always on his side, Ariel earned the Metro Manila Film Festival Best Supporting Actor trophy on his initial foray in acting in the movie Bakit Labis Kitang Mahal. Later, he would play leading man to Sharon Cuneta, Vilma Santos, Lea Salonga, Lorna Tolentino, Claudine Barretto and his now wife, Gelli de Belen.

Ariel also played an important role in Mulawin versus Ravena, as Panabon, half-human, half bird, shown on GMA 7. He was also in the Julia Barreto/Joshua Garcia starrer Love You To The Moon and Back.

Leo Consul is more than just a pretty face. He is a man of many talents. He can cook. He can sing. He can host. He can dance. And he can write. Leo has a beautiful life story which he turned into a book called, A Thousand Miles in Broken Slippers, which aside from being a best seller, has been awarded with the Best Book and Best Author Awards in Indonesia. Leo is a big name in Indonesian TV. Leo was in Manila to work on some projects.

Bryan Termulo travels to places far and wide to explore new places, people and things. He hosts his own online travel TV.

He is also an excellent singer. Bryan is an alumnus of Pinoy Pop Superstar and has sung the theme song of Walang Hanggan, 100 Days To Heaven, Honesto, Ina Kapatid Anak, Kung Ako"y Iiwan Mo, Juan De La Cruz, among others. He also has released the albums Begin and Hanggang Ngayon.

Brothers Kiefer and Thirdy Ravena are basketball superstars. They handle basketball clinics in schools and other organizations. Kiefer and Thirdy both played for the Ateneo Blue Eagles. Kiefer plays for Gilas Pilipinas. Kiefer is most awarded as a basketball player. Thirdy is also carving a name for himself as a fitness buff.

Raphael Banal is a US trained basketball player. He is the son of former PBA coach Joel Banal. Rafael is part of the Blackwater Elite team.

Drew Arellano is a sportsman-traveller. He hosts his own travel show Biyahe ni Drew that brings him to places where his being a triathlete is also put to good use. Aside from his television chores, Drew is a prized endorser for the products, Del Monte Pineapple, Babyflo Babywash, Cerelac Nutripuffs, and Uniqlo Jackets. He also hosts AHA on GMA 7.
