The leading consumer finance company wins Innovative Use of Technology in Human Resources Category

The leading consumer finance company Home Credit Philippines was named Gold Stevie^® awardee in the ninth annual Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards for the Innovative Use of Technology in Human Resources category. The award recognizes technology-driven human resource initiatives of Home Credit Philippines as "a way to connect, engage and transform people as they use technology to adapt to the future of human resource in the Philippines."

 

Since the start of the pandemic in 2020, Home Credit Philippines has been focusing on creating initiatives driven by technology to connect and engage with its employees all over the country and help streamline the company's overall processes. 

 

As a global company with more than 13 thousand employees in the country alone, Home Credit Philippines always makes its people the core of its business. In early 2021, the company launched its HR Gateway and Intranet to help HR Management connect and engage with its employees on a daily basis. The Sound of Magic Comes the Magic, Dreams, and Music – The Sound of Magic Main Trailer Released!

Netflix revealed the main trailer of The Sound of Magic – a story featuring Yoon Ah-yi, a girl who has lost her dreams in the face of reality, and Na Il-deung, a boy pressured to pursue his dreams. An unexpected yet enchanting story unravels as the two encounter the mystical magician Rieul. 

The newly released trailer provides a clear context into the narrative, visuals, and relationships among the three main characters – the enigmatic magician Ri-eul (Performed by Ji-Chang Wook), Yoo Ah-yi (Performed by Choi Sungeun), and Na Il-deung (Performed by Hwang In Youp). As illustrated through the trailer, this fantasy music series will share a universal message of what it is to become a grown-up through a magical yet mysterious storyline.  

Ji Chang Wook, introducing his role, said, “Ri-eul is a mysterious character that will surely intrigue the audience! The line between vice and virtue is irrelevant when it comes to Ri-eul as he constructs and lives in his own world,” stirring up curiosity about his character.

This spring, The Sound of Magic invites global audiences to a world of enchantment and heartwarming stories. The Sound of Magic will be released on May 6th, only on Netflix.

“Misis Piggy” is a poignant love letter to all mothers who strive to shower their kids with all the love and care despite enduring their own seemingly insurmountable struggles and pains.

In the iWantTFC original series, Sylvia plays the role of Marivic, a selfless and strong-willed single mom of three middle-aged kids. Marivic wants nothing but the best for her children that is why she whole-heartedly dedicates her time in running a meat stall at the market.

As her children get older, Marivic struggles to grapple with the fact that they are mature enough to live their own lives as they carve their own career paths in different countries. Her eldest daughter Lani (Ria) aims to boost her job as a nurse by going to Canada; Steffi (Iana Bernardez) is a teacher taking up a master’s degree and gets a scholarship offer in the United States; Jeffrey (Elijah Canlas), meanwhile, is Marivic’s youngest son who intends to pursue an internship in Australia as he finishes his studies.
