Maine Mendoza, Drew Arellano and Nico Bolzico are the newest Pilipinas Shell's ambassadors

Pilipinas Shell presented   newest ambassadors during a media launch at the Manila House in Bonifacio Global City last April 8.

The ambassadors are not just the faces of the Shell brands but are living proof of the company’s commitment to their customers, as they relate their personal experience in using Shell's products and services through the years.


Maine Mendoza

One of the most influential celebrities in the country today, Maine Mendoza, is the new brand ambassador for Shell FuelSave. Launched with a new formulation last year, Shell FuelSave has DYNAFLEX Technology designed to help improve engine efficiency.

Shell has always been embedded in Mendoza’s life even before rising to fame, as their family owns a number of Shell retail station dealerships.

Sweet couple celebrity Ambassadors Solenn and Nico with Kenny's new animated short film highlights #AwesomeTogether pairings

Kenny Rogers Roasters presents how love really win despite all odds with the new creative short animated film entitled “Awesome Together”



Using animation, the short film tells the story of Sosy and Bolzi, a pair of farm animals who meet and fall in love at the Roasters Farm. Their parents, however, object to the love affair, prompting the star-crossed lovers to defy traditional family expectations and embark on an epic journey for a chance at eternal togetherness.



Visionary director Avid Liongoren, the man behind highly acclaimed animated live-action film Saving Sally, brings Sosy and Bolzi’s love story to life. Despite its dramatic premise, Liongoren wanted to inject a sense of fun and adventure to “Awesome Together.” 

The anthropomorphic characters of Sosy and Bolzi were inspired by Kenny’s brand ambassadors and “it couple” Solenn Heussaff and Nico Bolzico, who also lent their voices and personalities to the star-crossed lovers—and to great results. 

“Nico and Solenn are very animated humans so it was so much fun to turn them into animals,” says Liongoren.

The animated film is meant to highlight another pair that’s awesome together: flavorful bacon and juicy roast chicken. Kenny Rogers Roasters is relaunching the Bacon Roast, which was first introduced in 2013. 

The Bacon Roast is a special dish that wraps Kenny's famous slow-roasted chicken in decadent strips of bacon to present a delicious, crave-inducing treat that will keep you coming back for more. Kenny’s takes pride in continuously serving bold and unique flavors that their guests crave every day. This is why they have decided to bring back the Bacon Roast, and this time, more tender and juicier than ever.

Celebrity ‘fitspirations’ pump up Golden Fiesta’s star-studded Heart Healthy Camp at BGC

The second leg of the Golden Fiesta Heart Healthy Camp with the power couple Solenn Heussaff and Nico Bolzico of the wildly popular ‘hubby vs. wifezilla’ videos.

Solenn and Nico took their “feud” to the Golden Fiesta Heart Healthy Camp Celebrity Edition as they led other stars and fitness enthusiasts in trying out various fitness routines at the Bonifacio Global City last Nov. 26, Sunday.



The celebrities were split into two groups—Team Solenn and Team Nico—as they engaged health buffs, competed in circuit training, and sweat it out with camp participants. 

The second leg of the free-admission Golden Fiesta Heart Healthy Camp was also be graced by former Philippine Azkals player Anton del Rosario and his fiancée, fashion designer royalty Sam Richelle; Miss Earth 2015 Angelia Ong; Mr. World Philippines 2016 Sam Ajdani; volleyball superstar Rachel Daquis; actress Maricar de Mesa; Miss World Philippines 2015 Hillarie Parungao; model-mom Angel Jones; singer-actress Ana Roces; and model June Macasaet.






Team Nico eventually emerged as winner, but Team Solenn did not give up without a fight. The celebrities tried out various workout activities like the Heart Pumps! Plyometric Box Jumps, Heart Skips! Low Hurdles, Heart Beats! Agility Ladders, Elastic Heart! Fitness Band, Heart Swing! Kettle Bells, and Heart Waves! Battle Ropes.



As early as 5 a.m., scores of young professionals who aspire to be heart-healthy trooped to the camp to interact with their celebrity fitspirations as they learned and enjoyed new fitness techniques—all for free.

Aside from joining various stations of workout activities manned by professional coaches and trainers, participants were also treated to a live cooking demo—using heart-healthy Golden Fiesta Canola Oil—by celebrity chef and fitness buff Jose Sarasola.


The chef-actor taught participants how to prepare simple but healthy recipes at home, like Golden Fiesta Lettuce Salad with Guyabano Vinaigrette, Golden Fiesta Bangus Back Fillet and Adobo Kangkong Duo, and Golden Fiesta Japanese Chicken Katsu in Curry Sauce. A food sampling follows.

“It’s not every day that we get a chance to train with our celebrity idols and fitspirations, not to mention jump-starting a new fitness regimen with them—for free. This is why we are so happy that our participants took this chance to sign up for the Golden Fiesta Heart Healthy Camp,” said Carl Constantino, category marketing manager at NutriAsia.

Power couple Solenn Heussaff and Nico Bolzico take #RelationshipGoals to a whole new level as they become the newest ambassadors of Kenny Rogers Roasters Philippines. 

They started off hot on digital with a steamy Solenn delectably eating a leg of roasted chicken, which caused a frenzy of views and shares online. A few days later this was followed by a hilarious material of Nico teaching his wife "how to be a true endorser". Nico himself was the one who came up with the classic line “The chicken and you is one”.

These were eventually revealed as teasers for the Kenny Rogers Roasters’ brand-new offering, the Garlic Butter Roast.



Sexy and funny has always been their trademark as a couple. From their pranks, to banters, photo shoots and interviews, there is no doubt that they excite everyone with their antics. 

This is what inspired Kenny Rogers Roasters to launch the Garlic Butter Roast through an exciting experience called The Awesome Sensession.

The Awesome Sensession was held in Kenny Rogers Matalino Branch where guests were taken on a food journey by hearing, smelling and tasting Garlic Butter Roast. All throughout the program, guests were guided by a voice that was reminiscent of Solenn’s French accent, the language of love and romance. 

Media guests were treated to a different sensorial experience which commenced with guests blindfolding themselves to lose their sense of sight and heighten their other senses. 


This was followed by sizzling sounds and the mouthwatering aroma of garlic and butter, exciting their palate before that delectable first bite of the Garlic Butter Roast.

Finally, Solenn and Nico appeared once the blindfolds were removed as a surprise to the guests. As the photo op and media Q&A happened, guests were then served the delicious chicken complemented by some of Kenny’s well-loved sidings.
