Fresh Cell Therapy Brings Treatment to New Heights, Find out why some well known celebrities, leaders, even royalty underwent living cell therapy

What do Madonna, Marilyn Monroe, Charlie Chaplin, Nelson Mandela, Pablo Picasso, Pope Pius XII, US Pres. Harry S. Truman, Prime Minister Charles de Gaulle, German Chancellor Konrad Adenauer, King Hirohito of Japan, King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia, and German Soccer Player Franz Beckenbauer have in common?

They all underwent an original living cell therapy in the clinic of Prof. Dr. Block or Prof. Dr. Niehans.

 Living Cell Therapy

Dr. Paul Niehans is the father of modern living cell therapy. He injected his first cells in 1931 when he was confronted with an acute case of serious glandular malfunctioning. Years later, Dr. Niehans treated Pope Pius XII who appointed him to the Papal Academy of Sciences in 1955 out of gratitude, making him the successor to Sir Alexander Fleming, the discoverer of penicillin.

Dr. Siegfried Block studied under Paul Niehans for many years and started using cell therapy around 60 years ago. He then passed his knowledge and expertise to his daughter, Dr. Petra Block, who later took over running the clinic. For her medical studies, she went to University Munich, Germany and Promotion University Nürnberg-Erlangen, Germany (Dr.med./MD). Since 1987 she was a general doctor, specializing in Gynäkologie and Cell Therapy. She studied Fresh Cell Therapy from 1987 to 1991 under her father. In 1991, she became the medical director of the Fresh Cell Therapy clinic Dr. Block, and the D. Siegfried Block GmbH – Center for Living Cell Therapy.

Her son, Dr. Daniel Block, has been working as the Managing Director since 2009. He studied at Florida International University, Miami USA and at the University of Wuerzburg Germany from 2004 to 2009 major in finance.

With more than 60 years of experience, D. Siegfried Block GmbH & Clinic Dr. Block keeps its own herd of around 700 mountain sheep exclusively for the gaining of living cells. A living cell therapy means that cells and minute cell unions derived from unborn or young mountain sheep are extracted under clinical conditions in its EU-Certified laboratory, suspended in a natural solution and immediately injected into the patient. Around 85 different organs or parts of organs can be extracted. These new injected organ cells will stimulate, revitalize, and restore a patients weakened and damaged organ cells.

D. Siegfried Block GmbH & Clinic Dr. Block is always the top choice when it comes to fresh cell theraphy because of its ancestry of excellence – from Prof. Niehans, to Dr. Siegfried Block, Dr. Petra Block, and Dr. Daniel Block. Likewise, a flock of hand selected mountain sheep which is closed in the female line for over 50 years is monitored by a veterinarian and laboratory analysis.

The clinic is highly distinguished from the others because it is the only clinic that extracts and injects the cells under the highest standards in Lenggries, Germany. The cell extraction is under clinical conditions and immediate injection is required to attain the highest efficiency. It boasts of highly experienced professional team – many members trained by Dr. Siegfried Block himself.

DAIKIN’s Green Initiatives in Disseminating R32 Energy Efficient Air Conditioners to Address Climate Challenges

As Daikin Airconditioning Philippines (DPH) continuously develop its business operations in various fields, it is Daikin’s mission to proactively develop initiatives to respond to environmental issues. Incorporating environmental initiatives throughout Daikin’s management is a priority.

Daikin's  press conference with the theme - Grow Together, Shine Together was held last March 02, 2018 at the Taft Ballroom, Conrad Manila Hotel, Pasay City. (From left to Right) Daikin Philippines Bart Roa - Deputy Division Manager Sales Operations Division , Jed Caburian - Division Manager Sales Operations Division ,Toshiyuki Tanaka - Vice President , Lee Wai Kok - President , Ogie Quitco - Division Manager After Sales Service Division , Gerry Cortez - Division Manager Human Resources and General Affairs.

Environmental Philosophy:
To be a Company that Leads in Applying Environmentally Friendly Practices

In all aspects of the business operations of Daikin, including product development, manufacturing, and sales. Daikin formulates initiative that will sustain and improve the environment. Daikin promotes the development of new products and the innovation of technologies that will lead to a more environmentally healthy world.

To mitigate future global climate change, it is important to take a “the sooner, the better” approach. Early implementation is a key to the further reduction of future environmental impact. As soon as the most balanced and feasible solution for an application is found, Daikin will commercialize and disseminate the technology to contribute to the efforts to tackle the issue of global climate change.

Environmental Action Plan 2020

The Daikin Group positions environmental protection as one of its most important management tasks. Based on DPH’s Fusion 20 strategic management plan, under the formulated Environmental Action Plan 2020, Daikin aims to decrease environmental impact throughout the value chain so that Daikin can achieve sustainable business growth and protect the environment.

Under Daikin’s Environmental Action Plan 2020, Daikin is taking action based on three pillars:
1-  provide environmental friendly products and services
2 - minimize environmental impact through manufacturing and other activities
3 - expand the Green Heart circle worldwide.
Since air conditioners emit a particularly large amount of CO2 during its lifecycle, Daikin is focusing on disseminating the use of energy-efficient air conditioners and air conditioners that use low-global-warming-potential refrigerants. By penetrating the global market, the Daikin group sold about 6.5Million of RAC units in 48 countries, and about 15 million units with R32 refrigerant sold. Estimated 27 million tons of CO2 emission reduced. By converting to R32, Daikin projected the reduction of global warming impact in 2030 by approximately 800 million tons of CO2.

Daikin has identified R32 as a very beneficial refrigerant for single and multi-split type air conditioners. R32 is the next-generation refrigerant that has highest cooling power, zero ozone depletion potential, and lowest global warming potential versus other refrigerants in the market. When looking for a new airconditioning for any application, Daikin believes that consumers should not consumers should look for R32 inverter.

Daikin believes that the transition to R32 will help to meet both the HFC phase down schedule and the HCFC phase out schedule of the Montreal Protocol.

Daikin is now in the process of further study to identify a suitable refrigerant for the other applications.

VRV X/A Series

Exceeding Boundaries with Innovative Energy Savings

The key to innovative energy saving is to increase efficiency during low-load operation. Using data gathered from actual operation, Daikin discovered that air conditioning systems operate at partial – half or less than of 80% of their annual operation period. This inspired Daikin to develop new technologies to enhance energy efficiency when operating only with few units in a multiple airconditioning system. Utilizing these technologies, Daikin’s new VRV X and VRV A series raise the standards for energy efficiency. By uniting advanced software and hardware technologies these greatly increased the energy saving during actual operation. Daikin newest software technology, the VRT Smart Control.

This VRT smart control, optimizes the compressor speed by calculating the required cooling for the entire system and optimal refrigerant temperature based on data sent by each airconditioning unit. With its air volume control, it reduces compressor load and minimizes operation loss.

VRT control ensures energy savings and comfortable air conditioning to meet the needs of the consumers.

Daikin’s research and development team continuously improve the VRV system. Incorporating a new hardware technology, a new scroll compressor refrigerant leakage is minimized when operating only with few units in a multiple airconditioning system. Operation loss due to refrigerant leakage is reduced by the new mechanism to ensure stable partial load operation.

For easier installation, Automatic Refrigerant Charge Function automates the charging of the proper refrigerant amount and the closing of shut-off valves with just one press of the switch after pre-charging. Simplified installation eliminates excessive and insufficient refrigerant charge amount due to mistakes in calculation, and this led to higher installation quality.

The VRV X and VRV A is the most advanced air conditioning system in the world and is ideal for large and small spaces.

The Daikin press conference  was hosted by  Christian Centenera Ardiente and organized by R & A Events Specialist by Ricci Ang.

Globe myBusiness offers digital solutions for hotels and restaurants Supports Food & Hotel Expo Manila

The country’s tourism industry has just recently reached an all-time high tourist arrival of 6.6million, an 11 percent unprecedented growth compared to last year. As a result, a growing demand for quality service and five-star experience in hotel and restaurants is expected over the next years as the Philippine landscape evolves into a hub for both tourism and food culture.

On the other hand, the food sector has also been seen growing over the recent years with over 2,000 registered restaurants that opened and a noticeable rise of food parks around the metro in 2017.

Despite the business opportunities mushrooming across the country, most small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are still struggling to survive in the market. And while competition is tough, Globe myBusiness has opened its boundaries to further reach out to its users and consumers by offering affordable digital solutions that are keys to upgrading their businesses.

In the recently concluded Food & Hotel Expo Manila at the SMX Convention Center, Globe myBusiness presented interesting solutions to help SMEs cope with the growing demand.

“Our goal is to help create success for all Philippine businesses, most especially to our small and medium enterprises. We want them to be our partners, to drive operational efficiency and build a digital business ecosystem that can assist them in their business needs,” said Debbie Obias, Vice President, Segment Marketing of Globe myBusiness.

According to Obias, most SMEs, especially in the hotel sector lack the tools, guidance and experience in setting up digital solutions. Globe myBusiness offers the right connectivity service to provide businesses, whether big or small, an edge over competition and stay ahead of the game through managed services and business solutions such as I.T. equipment, support and maintenance, automation and training , among others.

Mitch Peralta, Head, Segment Marketing for tourism and hospitality of Globe myBusiness also shares that “the thrust is to create a five-star experience, making these hotels and restaurants the perfect destination. With customers putting more value to unique experiences, these business improvements can equip owners to give their patrons the service they deserve.”

Peralta continues that “here at Globe, we help our partners help their customers. We constantly find solutions to help them upgrade their business so they can be competitive in the market and offer customers the services they need so they can earn more and grow their business even further.”

The attention to detail is also as crucial. Millennials have an average of 420 friends in their social media network and, “41 percent of them use their phones in fine dining, 69 percent use their phones in fast food places and 25 percent take photos and upload it on Facebook. Free WiFi does not cut it anymore, it has to be strong, fast and stable.”

In the food and restaurant sector, Globe myBusiness has back-of-house and front-of-house technology that can be offered to entrepreneurs. Back-of-house technology includes automated food purchasing and inventory, financial reporting, kitchen display system, menu management and engineering and employee staffing and training, while front-of-house technology includes the POS system, table management, e-payment, gift and loyalty programs, guest services and customer WiFi.
