David Archuleta has released the music video for his version
of “Everybody Hurts.”
The song comes from his fifth studio album BEGIN.
“Everybody Hurts” was originally released as a 1993 single
from American rock band R.E.M. In the liner notes of the band’s album In Time:
The Best of R.E.M. 1988–2003, the R.E.M. guitarist Peter Buck wrote that “the
reason the lyrics are so typically straightforward is because it was aimed at
teenagers.”
