For OPPO brand ambassador and actor-entrepreneur David Licauco, summer has always been a season to look forward to. He’s had a lot of fond memories with family and friends over the years that have made each summer that much more special. What stands out most in David’s younger years is his family’s annual visit to Bicol. Here they would frolic on the beach, spend the whole day playing games, and eat halo-halo after a long day out in the sun. During his college days, he would go to Boracay with his friends. But recently, David’s had to scale back on these vacations as he’s become more preoccupied with his commitments and engagements as one of the country’s prominent stars. When asked for tips on how to capture standout photos, David will be the first one to admit that he’s no expert. He just abides by a simple mindset – just keep taking lots of photos and try to be as natural as possible. “I’m a point-and-shoot type of photographer, so I’m glad the Reno11 F 5G comes in handy for taking great photos. Whatever I feel like taking a photo of, I just go for it. I take lots of angles and try to edit them slightly on my phone before posting.”

He’s also one to visit beaches as often as possible to escape from the bustling city life and de-stress from the demands of his work. David’s dream summer destination is Siargao. Amazed by the tear-drop shaped island’s pristine beaches, lagoons and coves, David admits that he loves to just sit back and chill. It’s a busier summer for David this year, but he’s not complaining.
