Lucky TNT subscribers and their companions recently spent a fun-filled Saturday with KaTropas Kathryn Bernardo and Joshua Garcia as part of TNT Anibersaya 25’s Max Saya Bonding Event held in Quezon City.

Among the excited attendees was 53-year-old government employee Rochelle Aguilar, who TNT flew in straight from Iloilo. Still reeling from disbelief, she shared an intimate lunch with the young celebrities, filled with small talk, personal stories, and engaging games. What made the experience even more special was sharing this "core memory" with her two daughters, Jyzelle and Rachel, and their friend Rica Mae Onelan – all loyal TNT subscribers.

All-expenses-paid trip for KaTropas

“Bale, nag-load lang po ako then may nag-pop up na message na may raffle to bond with Kathryn and Joshua so nag-join po ako. Pero hindi ko po sineryoso kasi siyempre, andaming sasali. Hindi na rin ako nag-expect na mananalo,” added Aguilar, who’s been a loyal TNT subscriber for four years now.

Aguilar initially couldn't believe her luck and thought it was too good to be true. However, a TNT representative reassured her that the win was legitimate and promptly arranged the all-expenses-paid trip to meet Kathryn and Joshua.

“Naunang dumating si Joshua then ‘yun na. Madami na nang kwentuhan at tawanan dahil masaya siyang kausap,” Aguilar said.

Aguilar’s daughter, Jyzelle, was visibly moved, tearing up as she watched her mother enjoy the event. "Para siyang bata uli na kinikilig nung nakita niya si Joshua!”

Throughout the event, Joshua and Kathryn took the time to mingle and talk with each of the lucky subscribers, treating them like their own KaTropas.

Aguilar noted Joshua's openness about his healthy diet of mainly vegetables, fish, and chicken. She was also delighted to discover that Kathryn advocates for stray animals like her, who rescues stray dogs and cats in Iloilo.

To elevate the fun, winners teamed up with either Joshua or Kathryn for two lively games: 'Charades Relay' and 'Mirror Move.' Team Joshua emerged victorious in both.

Aguilar, a member of Team Joshua, proudly took home a P10,000 cash prize, while her daughters, on Team Kathryn, received a consolation prize of P4,000 each.

“Bawi next time!”

“Sa lahat po ng KaTropa na sinamahan kami this afternoon, maraming salamat po sa oras ninyo. Nabitin ako! Sa Team Kath, babawi tayo next time, okay?” Kathryn joked.

Puregold Price Club Inc., a longtime industry leader in Philippine retail, ushered in the month of June with two prestigious wins at the recent 2025 Retail Asia Awards: Hypermarket of the Year (Philippines) and Integrated Campaign of the Year (Philippines).

The Retail Asia Awards, which was launched in 2021, is a distinguished annual event that honors outstanding achievements, innovations, and excellence among key players in the region’s retail industry. Representatives of Puregold stood tall as they accepted the awards at last night’s ceremony held at the Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre in Singapore.

The twin recognition marks the culmination of a massive year of growth for Puregold Price Club Inc, which touted a record-breaking P10 billion plus in profits by 2024’s end. To date, the retail chain has over 700 stores nationwide, including S&R Clubs and quick service restaurants.
