SB19, BINI, SunKissed Lola, Flow G & Puregold debut the ultimate OPM collaboration with the “Nasa Atin ang Panalo” music video

After weeks of building anticipation and dropping hints on their social media platforms, Puregold has finally unveiled the music video to the new song “Nasa Atin ang Panalo.”

Released this past May 25, the video is a must-watch for Pinoy pop fans. It serves as the ultimate collaboration of four of the country’s most sizzling musical acts: SB19, BINI, SunKissed Lola, and Flow G.

“These four artists are the powerhouse acts in Philippine music today. Collaborating with them is an excellent opportunity to reinforce Puregold's brand message,” said Vincent Co, President of Puregold Price Club, Inc. “Puregold proudly celebrates their achievements and is dedicated to continuously uplifting Filipino talent. And as we look forward to our 500th store milestone, it’s a privilege to have these artists produce a song that authentically represents our core values.”

The music video shows all four acts together singing and dancing along in a stylized Puregold store. They flaunt their diverse talents: harmonizing, dancing to exciting choreography, playing instrumental solos, or, in the case of Flow G, writing and rapping their own verses.

Beyond just the monumental feat of having all four mega acts in a single music video for the same song, “Nasa Atin ang Panalo” also celebrates the people of Puregold. Dancing alongside them and sharing the spotlight in the music video are the everyday shoppers and store staff that keep Puregold a running success from day to day. Puregold’s very own Aling Puring even makes an appearance to jam with the country’s biggest stars.

The song perfectly captures the “panalo” spirit that has defined Puregold’s long history in the retail business. Beyond that, it also speaks to the “panalo” stories of the artists involved in creating it. Each one has come into this project with their own stories of success.

SunKissed Lola’s relentless ascent in the industry affirms their commitment to turning dreams into reality. BINI’s growth and coming-of-age narrative serves as a reminder of the profound value of transformation and evolution over time. Flow G’s unwavering determination in the face of constant obstacles demonstrates his resilience and resolve to forge ahead. SB19’s journey, filled with triumphs and trials, is a powerful example of the ability to bounce back and confront each new day.

The collaborative song combines all of these elements in a single that can be enjoyed online now and soon on streaming platforms like Spotify.

Excitingly for Pinoy pop fans, there’s even more looming on the horizon. All four artists have already teased solo tracks that will soon drop with Puregold in the forthcoming weeks. Each new original song will dive further into the artists’ individual qualities that have allowed them to reach their “always panalo” dreams. Fans are encouraged to keep a close eye on Puregold’s social media accounts for further developments.

It’s a wrap: Puregold Channel’s romcom series Ang Lalaki sa Likod ng Profile in numbers

Puregold Channel recently wrapped up its latest hit series, Ang Lalaki sa Likod ng Profile, with a swoon-worthy season finale that left romcom fans happily fulfilled when lead stars Bryce (Wilbert Ross) and Angge (Yukii Takahashi), who had earlier drifted apart, finally found their way to each other—again.
Puregold Channel’s recent digital series, Ang Lalaki sa Likod ng Profile, was no doubt, successful in capturing the hearts of netizens.

It was the ‘happily ever after’ that ALSLNP’s loyal followers wished for years earlier when Bryce and Angge agreed to part ways to seek self-discovery and personal growth.

The finale also depicted “endings,” not only in the realm of love and romance but also of friendship, like that of Genski (Kat Galang) and Ketch (Migs Almendras). Series fans also saw how life panned out for Bryce’s mother Bessie (Marissa Sanchez) and Angge’s brother Cyrus (TJ Valderrama).

There were glimpses, too, of Bryce and Angge as individuals with career aspirations. All told, ALSLNP bore priceless lessons on the realities of life, much of which viewers could relate to.

With a goal of becoming a pioneer in retailtainment and crafting stories that touch the hearts of Filipinos, Puregold Channel has triumphed in its efforts to create digital series.

Indeed, just like Puregold Channel's previous YouTube series, Ang Babae sa Likod ng Face Mask, and its award-winning Tiktok sensation 52 Weeks, Ang Lalaki sa Likod ng Profile was a resounding success as it delivered pure entertainment to Puregold Channel's 219,000 subscribers, along with viewers across various other platforms.

ALSLNP’s feat translates into impressive digits. On YouTube alone, episodes of ALSLNP garnered views ranging from 150,000 to more than 300,000. The trailers for the series drew widespread attention, as well, amassing organic views ranging from 190,000 to 270,000.

Moreover, the show sparked fans’ enthusiasm in expressing their thoughts and feelings, with each episode generating scores of positive comments filled with praise and admiration.

“This remarkable achievement is a win for Puregold's retailtainment efforts,” Ms. Ivy Hayagan-Piedad, Puregold's Marketing Manager, proudly noted, “We are happy that we created and presented a story that beautifully weaves together Filipino culture and values with contemporary issues."

Wilbert Ross, who played the role of Bryce in ALSLNP, charmed viewers with his natural charm and undeniable talent.

Fans couldn't contain their excitement and shared their thoughts on the final episode:

@easterlizaborcelis couldn’t get enough, and says, "Grabeng ganda. Lagi akong nakaabang sa episode nito. More please."

"Naaliw ako sa series na ito. More projects for these actors and actresses. Sarap din minsan makanapanood ng light lang na drama, may comedy pa," @pril0413 adds.

@danicatresvalles6461 calls on Puregold to create more of these stories. "More pa sanang ganito, please, Puregold. The best ka!"

Bryce’s pair, Angge, played by Yukii Takahashi, also enamored audiences with her beauty and acting prowess.

Fans likewise enjoyed the friendship and romantic pairing of Ketch (Migs Almendras) and Genski (Kat Galang) in Ang Lalaki sa Likod ng Profile.

Meanwhile, @bricemendez6401 felt satisfied with the series’ wonderful conclusion.
"Nagustuhan ko talaga ito. Husay, lahat panalo! Para sa akin bu-solve na ako rito, hindi bitin, hindi na kailangan ng season 2. Naipasok na lahat ng sustansya't aral dito sa series na ito. Pero sana magkaroon ulit ng Yukii-Wilbert projects."

On the other hand, @grandesorellavlog4582 hopes for a season 2.
"Wah! Thanks Ninang Puregold. I love it. I hope may Season 2 for them. This story has a lesson for everyone na you have to be brave and take a risk to [express] your feelings to the person that is special [in] your life, so that you will have no regrets in life."

Puregold Channel Launches the Much-Awaited “Ang Babae Sa Likod Ng Face Mask” Romcom Series

This summer, expect pure fun and entertainment from Puregold Channel with the much-anticipated release of its first-ever rom-com digital series “Ang Babae sa Likod ng Face Mask” on March 26.
A 13-episode romantic comedy series conceptualized with Puregold, produced by award-winning filmmaker Chris Cahilig, and directed by critically-acclaimed Victor Villanueva, “Ang Babae sa Likod ng Face Mask” marks the introduction of social media personality and comedienne Herlene Budol in her very first starring role.

Popularly known as “Hipon Girl,” Herlene’s wit and charm helped her get an initial break—regular exposure on the variety show ‘Wowowin’. Now she takes on a lead role in Puregold Channel’s second digital series, “Ang Babae sa Likod ng Face Mask”.

“Napaka-exciting na opportunity ang ibinigay ng Puregold sa akin,” Herlene gushes. “Nakilala ako bilang co-host at sa aking sariling YouTube show. Ngayon naman, gusto ko ipakita sa lahat ng followers at Hiponatic supporters ang kakayahan ko bilang isang leading lady.”

“Ang Babae sa Likod ng Face Mask” tells the story of Malta, played by Herlene Budol, a 25-year-old cashier. Malta works hard to support her mother, Madam Baby, portrayed by seasoned actress, Ms. Mickey Ferriols.

One day at work, Malta meets the handsome but unlucky in love Sieg, played by Kit Thompson. It’s love at first sight for Sieg, who is mesmerized by Malta’s eyes. What unfolds is the story of how Malta and Sieg find love and overcome their doubts and insecurities, and break the negative cycles of their past.

“Ang Babae…” follows in the footsteps of Puregold Channel’s first series, “GVBOYS.” Both bring back warm feelings of nostalgia from the early years. Where “GVBOYS” is reminiscent of the 90s sitcom “Palibhasa Lalake,” this new series can be seen as the modern and comical “Blusang Itim” excluding the elements of fantasy.

Puregold marketing manager Ivy Piedad adds, “The ever-present face mask is now a symbol of hope and self-love for our lead in this new series. And we hope to entertain a large number of viewers online especially given the Pinoy’s fondness for light, romantic comedies.”

The entertainment media caught a preview of “Ang Babae sa Likod ng Face Mask” during its virtual launch, which drew the attendance of the show’s stellar cast such as Herlene, herself, her leading man Kit Thompson, Mickey Ferriols, and others.

Expect laughter, tears, and the highs and lows of great romcoms from the “Ang Babae sa Likod ng Face Mask”. Stream the digital series for free on YouTube Puregold Channel every Saturday, 6PM, beginning March 26, 2022.

Netizens clamor for second season of Puregold Channel’s GVBoys

PUREGOLD Channel officially breaks new ground with its newest online series GVBoys as it is now a certified smash hit as it officially breaches the 3M mark in consolidated viewership on Facebook and YouTube where it is streaming brand episodes for free every Saturday evenings since it piloted last July 10.

Puregold Channel is conceptualized by Puregold Price Club Inc. to provide the public a free source of entertainment that they could all enjoy in the privacy and safety of their homes.

Directed by veteran film and top-rating TV director Don Cuaresma with a script written by Sherwin Buenvenida and Joaquin Acosta, GVBoys is the wackiest, laugh-a-minute digital comedy series today that stars Jerome Ponce, Dave Bornea, and Nikko Natividad with Wilma Doesnt, Elsa Droga, and Ms. Carmi Martin.

GVBoys revolves around the adventures and misadventures of Jawo (Ponce), Zeus (Bornea), and Dax (Natividad) in the hopes of raising money to redeem their boarding house owned by Aling Pearly (Martin) from a debt incurred from her old frenemie Loisa (Doesn’t).

Since its successful pilot, the GVBoys has been going through the zaniest and wackiest exploits in raising the money to save their boarding house from being repossessed – Jawo tries his luck in acting while dealing with his narcolepsy; Zeus seasons the series with the ambiguity of his true gender; Dax falls in and out of love; Kathyn B (Elsa Droga) provides the group with additional comedic flavor; and Aling Pearly and Loisa continue to bicker like cats and dogs.

The on-going run of GVBoys upped the subscribers of Puregold Channel on YouTube while the hilarious scenes of the series are now favorite trending materials amongst TikTokers with netizens clamoring in unison for a second season mid-way through the hit comedy series.

“We feel so honored that netizens are really having a blast laughing with the GVBoys,” says Dave Bornea. “The series has not yet reached its conclusion and yet we have been receiving a lot of positive comments and requests for a second season. Right now, we do not know if Puregold Channel will greenlight a second season but I am really hoping that Puregold management does because this is really one of the most fun series that I ever did.”

On the series’ 6th episode streaming this August 14, Jawo’s weeksary date with Loisa turns sour; Dax leads the GVBoys in putting up sexy car wash business; Zeus reminds the group a valuable lesson on honesty; Aling Pearly and Kathryn B ventures into a sideline; and Loisa gets a chilling phone.

“We have three more episodes left and it only becomes crazier,” says Wilma Doesnt. “We are all stressed enough as it is and we should all reward ourselves with a major dose of good vibes.”

GVBoys streams Saturday evenings (7:00 p.m.) for free on Puregold Channel’s YouTube and Facebook platforms.
