Mornings get even better ! Hooray for Today

Hooray for mornings and things that make them good!  Mornings get even better.

I've resting for days, (feeling not well) and thanks God that i was not confined in the hospital (again).
I've been watching TV, seeing this commercial ( a McDonald's) for a few times and I feel
happy seeing this again.

Enjoy this version!

Hooray for mornings and things that make them good
Hooray for beaming smiles that make my day
Hooray for stops and gos
Hooray for colors and quick hellos
Hooray for surprises that walk my way
Hooray for friends I'll make, oh hey...hey!
Hooray for treats that make me smile,
Like magic stripes that fill the sky
Hooray for days that make me say,
Oh Hooray for today!

Eating Two Bananas a Day Keep The Doctor Away

Bananas are the perfect take-along snack. No wonder they're one of the most popular fruits in the Philippines. The banana is a nutritious fruit. The best source potassium you can find, but there are many other benefits to eating this fruit. It just might cure people of medical problems. It is also  best for living a healthy lifestyle.

In order to have a healthy lifestyle, you have to meet your daily requirement of five fruits and vegetables. Bananas are a perfect part of your diet and they are the most popular fruit in many countries.  Bananas are available all year and they are a great source of instant energy whether you are watching your diet or just trying to eat healthy. Like other fruits and vegetables, bananas contain no fat, sodium or cholesterol. It is a known fact that a low fat, balanced diet rich in vegetables and fruit may reduce the risk of heart disease and certain types of cancer.

There have been numerous studies showing the health benefits of bananas, and this has proven this fruit to be very convenient, both for its ease of consumption (especially in a fast-paced work environment) and for its nutritional properties.

Bananas are rich in vitamin B6 and they are a good source of fiber, vitamin C, magnesium and potassium. Lack of B6 in a diet can cause weakness, irritability and insomnia.

Generally, fruit is a poor source of vitamin B6, but bananas are the exception. A single serving has more than 30 percent of the recommended daily amount. Vitamin B6 helps to keep your immune system performing at its peak, and recent studies have found that, like a deficiency of folic acid, a long-term deficiency of vitamin B6 may increase your risk of heart disease.

The potassium found in bananas helps to regulate blood pressure and may reduce the risk of high blood pressure and stroke.

Bananas are loaded with potassium, and researchers state that adding potassium may play a stronger role in the control of high blood pressure than restricting salt. Bananas also have a lot of magnesium, a mineral that helps keep blood pressure levels in check.

Potassium is also essential for helping muscles to contract properly during exercise and reduces cramping up. A medium-sized banana provides 400 mg of potassium -11% of daily value- and contains 110 calories and 4 grams of fiber. Bananas also contain plenty of carbohydrates which are the body's main source of energy. They are also easy to digest.

Bananas are ideal for people looking to lose or maintain weight through sound nutrition, while also giving the body sustenance for daily strength and fitness. Bananas offer the body carbohydrates -- its main source of energy -- and provide a good source of vitamin C, vitamin B6, potassium and fiber. Bananas offer an amazing fat-free package of natural energy, minerals, vitamins, and fiber.

Bananas can also make a great choice of snack food, because they are naturally sweet without a great deal of sugar or fat, making them an excellent alternative to processed sweetened and fatty snacks. The high fiber content of a banana can also help a snacker to fill up, reducing caloric intake and encouraging healthy eating as part of a weight loss plan.

Because bananas are available year round, and they are relatively inexpensive, it is a good fruit to eat daily. As what the doctors say, "Two bananas a day may keep the doctor away."

Charles Dickens' 200th birthday: Google remembers the novelist with a doodle

It's Charles Dickens' 200th birthday, so here that I am joyfully see the cute animated google doodle and  Google remembers the novelist with a ... doodle!  Today marks the 200th anniversary of Charles Dickens' birthday , born February 7, 1812. To celebrate the life and works of one of the world's greatest storytellers, the Google doodle team created this fantastic celebratory doodle.

Charles John Huffam Dickens  was novelist, generally considered the greatest of the Victorian period. Dickens enjoyed a wider popularity and fame than had any previous author during his lifetime, and he remains popular, having been responsible for some of English literature’s most iconic novels.

The Doodle features characters from his literary works and his famous novels, including Oliver Twist, David Copperfield and Great Expectations.

The British author wrote several novels during his lifetime including classics like A Tale of Two Cities and Nicholas Nickleby. Most of his novels focused on the hardships faced by the poor and working class during industrial revolution.

Born on Feb. 7 1812 in Landport, England, Charles John Huffam Dickens grew in tough, working-class conditions. At age 12, after his father was thrown into a debtors’ prison, he was forced to work at a blacking factory.

Starting his career as a journalist, Dickens eventually started writing literary prose, which was published in monthly installments before being released as books.

Dickens was also a philanthropist; together with Angela Burdett Coutts he founded the Urania Cottage, a home for “fallen” women, helping them learn to read and write.

Dickens died from the consequences of a stroke in his home on June 8, 1870. His last words were, reportedly, “Be natural my children. For the writer that is natural has fulfilled all the rules of art.”

Here are some of Dickens' novels and Christmas books.
Novels :

The Posthumous Papers of the Pickwick Club (Monthly serial, April 1836 to November 1837)[92]

The Adventures of Oliver Twist (Monthly serial in Bentley’s Miscellany, February 1837 to April 1839)

The Vow is the story of a newlywed couple recovers from a car accident that puts the wife in a coma. Waking up with severe memory loss, her husband endeavors to win her heart again.

Paige and Leo (Rachel McAdams and Channing Tatum) are a happy newlywed couple whose lives are changed by a car accident that puts Paige in a coma. Waking up with severe memory loss, Paige has no memory of Leo, a confusing relationship with her parents (Sam Neill and Jessica Lange), and an ex-fiancé (Scott Speedman) she may still have feelings for. Despite these complications, Leo endeavors to win her heart again and rebuild their marriage.

THE VOW,   based on a true love story is this Valentine season's ultimate romantic movie opens nationwide on February 10.

The Vow is directed by Michael Sucsy,  story by Stuart Sender. Screenplay byAbby Kohn & Marc Silverstein and Jason Katims and produced by Roger Birnbaum, Gary Barber, Jonathan Glickman and Paul Taublieb.

These two stars  are the veteran of romantic tearjerkers especially Channing Tatum  in "Dear John" and Rachel McAdams  in "The Notebook." These movies are my favorite romance love movies. And here, The Vow will be the love movie to watch this Valentines! ♥♥♥

Here are some romantic movie quotes:

Leo:  I vow to love you, and no matter what challenges might carry us apart, we will always find a way back to each other.

Leo :  Life's all about moments of impact, and how they change our lives forever. But what if one day you could no longer remember any of them?
Paige :  Coming home to a life I don't know, that's a lot to take in.

Paige: "I vow to help you love life, to always hold you with tenderness and to have the patience that love
demands. To speak when words are needed and to share the silence when they're not, and to live within the warmth of your heart -- and always call it home."
Leo: "I vow to seriously love you, in all your forms, now and forever. I promise to never forget that this is a once in a lifetime love."

Paige: "I hope one day I can love the way that you love me."
Leo: "You figured it out once -- you'll do it again."
