GrabShare expands to more Metro Manila cities

GrabShare offers the same safe, reliable and convenient ride that Grab is known for, but at a more affordable price point

Grab Philippines officially brings GrabShare to more cities in Metro Manila. The carpooling service – which had its pilot run in Makati, BGC, Manila and select areas in Ortigas in 2022 – is now also available in Mandaluyong, Pasig, San Juan, Pateros, and select areas in Paranaque and Quezon City.

GrabShare makes the same convenience and reliability of GrabCar more accessible and affordable for the Filipino commuter. With GrabShare, passengers can enjoy as much as 30 percent lower fares on Grab. The service’s passenger-matching feature was also further optimized to ensure that the party is headed in the same direction to avoid surprise detours, hence improving overall shared-ride duration.

Grab Philippines Senior Director for Strategy and Operations Ronald Roda shares:

“Every Filipino deserves unfettered access to safe, reliable, and more affordable means of transportation, and we are fully committed to help make that a reality for everyone. We are optimistic that as we expand GrabShare’s service areas to more cities in Metro Manila, we are staying true to our commitment – continuing to play an active role in providing a better mobility experience for everyone.”

The leading super app is also working on bringing GrabShare to cities outside of Metro Manila. With the growing availability of the service, Grab Philippines reminds its passengers to continue practicing health and safety protocols while on the road. This includes the wearing of face mask and regular hand sanitation.

Save Space Without Compromise with LG's Newest Line of Window Type Air Conditioners

When it comes to home appliances, space is the name of the game. Space, or lack thereof, is one of the most important factors to consider when moving or fitting out a home, whether for form or function. It’s crucial that with whatever appliance you bring, it’s able to maximize every square inch it occupies.

Recognizing the premium for space, LG introduces a new line of window type air conditioners that’s more compact than ever but without sacrificing an ounce of cooling technology. The new line comes in three levels of cooling capacity - 0.8 HP, 1.0 HP, and 1.3 HP. All three versions share the same compact size with all of LG’s innovative technology.

The new line of air conditioners boast of LG’s storied inverter technology. With the LG DUAL Inverter Compressor, the air conditioners provide up to 70% more energy savings. Even with its small size, it still provides maximum cooling. These inverter window air conditioners provide exceptional cooling power that will keep you and your family cool, comfortable, and in control any day of the week.

With small spaces, noise is also magnified. This new line of air conditioners operate at sound levels as low as 44dB (when in low mode), eliminating unnecessary noise for smooth operation that you'll barely notice. It also offers Sleep Mode, which keeps operating noise to a minimum and turns the air conditioner off after a set time. The timer can be set from 1 to 12 hours. For the timer, you can set it up to 24 hours of operation, so that your air conditioner turns off when you plan it. Another game changing feature this line offers is the Clean Filter Indicator, which automatically notifies you whenever the filter needs cleaning. Say goodbye to guesswork!

The design and interface is intuitive and user-friendly. Operate it with the LED display and simple selection control panel, up/down temperature adjustments, and fan speed selection, using the full-featured remote without leaving your bed, workspace, or couch.

The air conditioners also offer versatile options and features for control. With the ThinQ™ app, you can start or stop your LG air conditioner, change the mode, or set the temperature, no matter where you are.

It also offers an Auto Clean Function. If the power cuts off, your unit resumes its previous operation shortly after the power is restored. It also has an Auto Evaporating System, where after turning off the air conditioner, the drying function automatically runs for 10 minutes. Say goodbye to smelly humidity.
