Superstar comedian RUSSELL PETERS returns to Asia with the DEPORTED WORLD TOUR

AEG Presents and Ovation Productions are thrilled to announce that global comedy phenom RUSSELL PETERS will bring his DEPORTED WORLD TOUR to MANILA on 10 MARCH 2018 at the Philippine International Convention Center’s Plenary Hall.

Peters last toured Asia in 2015 & 2016 to sold out houses. “I’ve been building the new act in clubs across the States over the past year and I’m very happy with it.”

Peters returns to live touring after taking time off stage since the filming of his last special, Almost Famous for Netflix in April 2016 in Toronto. In between, he’s produced and starred in his own comedy-drama limited series for Netflix, The Indian Detective. The Indian Detective also stars Anupam Kher (The Big Sick, Silver Linings Playbook), William Shatner (Star Trek), Christina Cole (Suits, Casino Royale), Mishqah Parthiephal (Keeping Up with the Kandasamys). The Indian Detective will air December 19^th on Netflix globally.

Peters has also appeared in the still unreleased films, The Clapper with Ed Helms, Amanda Seyfried and Tracy Morgan as well as Supercon with Ryan Kwanten and John Malkovich, and Public Schooled with Judy Greer.

THE DEPORTED WORLD TOUR will also feature one of David Letterman’s favourite comics, the legendary raconteur of weird stories, comedian Jake Johannsen.

THE DEPORTED WORLD TOUR will take Peters around the world with shows well into 2019. The Asia dates follow a run through Australia and New Zealand. His last tour travelled to over 26 countries with over 200 performances and more than 300,000 fans in attendance.

Madonna will visit Manila for the first time as part of her Rebel Heart World Tour. Queen of Pop Madonna’s Manila concert has been set for two nights on the last week of February at the Mall of Asia (MOA) Arena.

Madonna is best known for numerous timeless hits such as “Like a Virgin,” “Papa Don’t Preach,” “Like a Prayer,” and “Vogue.” 

Well known for her ever-evolving musical styles and looks, Madonna, during her colorful career spanning over three decades, the seven-time Grammy Award-winner has sold more than 300 million records worldwide. 

Madonna marked a new world record by becoming the only artist to have 45 No. 1 songs on any chart in Billboard history.

Madonna holds the title of being the best-selling female recording artist of all time by Guinness World Records. Michael Bublé releases “To Be Loved – Asian Tour Edition”

Michael Bublé’s highly acclaimed studio album “To Be Loved” has been released with 5 new bonus tracks which is entitled “To Be Loved – Asian Tour Edition”. 

Bublé’s sixth studio album “To Be Loved” follows his “Christmas” CD which sold seven million copies internationally and was the number two biggest selling album of 2011 (after Adele).

“To Be Loved” produced by Bob Rock was recorded in Vancouver and Los Angeles and includes a mix of standards as well as four original songs all co-written by Bublé. “After All” one of the four originals was co-written and performed by fellow Canadian Bryan Adams. YouTube duo Sam Tsui and Kurt Hugo Schneider set to perform in Manila for the first time to be held on June 25-26 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.

Sam Tsui and Kurt Hugo Schneider, known for their YouTube covers and medleys,  have come a long way since their GarageBand days to their upcoming Manila concert.

As part of their YouTube stardom, Sam Tsui and Kurt Hugo Schneider as duo, have touched thousands of people through their collaborative covers of hits by Adele, Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars and Katy Perry. They're also noted for their creative mash-ups and medleys; most notably the Michael Jackson Medley.

Sam has been hailed as an internet singing sensation, who along with his production partner Kurt was among the first musicians to establish a hugely popular music-focused channel on Youtube. The Mall of Asia Arena, kick-off the All-Star festivities and hosts the Philippine Basketball Association All-Stars Weekend April 4 - 6, 2014.

The Mall of Asia Arena, through to its commitment to change the game and elevate entertainment for the Filipino audience, guarantees a world-class events and entertainment experience to its audience.

Watchout for the PBA All Stars weekend at the Mall Of Asia Arena, with the PBA idols, baskeball legends and celebrities joining the mid-season festivities, such as the Obstacle Challenge, Three-Point Shootout, Slam Dunk Contest and Legends Game.

Highlights of the weekend are PBA Greats vs Stalwarts and Skills Challenge game on April 4, 8 pm. The ultimate showdown between the PBA All-Stars and the Smart Gilas Pilpinas National Team will be on Sunday at 5 p.m.

Other activities will include basketball clinics, hospital visits, medical visits, meet and greet, referee clinics and coaches clinics. 

The PBA Greats and Stalwarts will once again be composed of active players and former cagers combined.

The legends that will team up with them are Noli Locsin, Bal David, Jeffrey Cariaso, Dickie Bachman and Richard Del Rosario.

Four-time defending champion Villanueva goes for his fifth straight Obstacles Challenge crown against Casio, Miller, Romeo, Hodge, Mercado, LA Tenorio of Barangay Ginebra, Paul Lee of Rain or Shine, Philippine Cup Finals MVP Marc Barroca of San Mig Coffee and Jayson Castro of Talk ‘N Text.

In the Three-Point Shootout, Tiu tries to defend his crown against three-time former champion Mark Macapagal of GlobalPort, who’ll try to regain the title after losing it last year. They will also be up against Casio, Buenafe, Cardona, Mac Baracael of Ginebra, Gary David of Meralco, Marcio Lassiter of San Miguel, James Yap of San Mig Coffee and Larry Fonacier of Talk ‘N Text.

WM Cinemas - A recent acquire of SM Lifestyle Entertainment Incorporated, WM Cinemas operates in six branches in Luzon, equipped with fully digitized screens and projectors that render clarity to both image and sound. Under SM Cinema, WM Cinemas is now fully renovated with upgraded facilities operating under the largest cinema exhibitor in the Philippines, SM Cinema.

Snack Time – The sole food concession unit of SM Lifestyle Entertainment Inc., Snack Time caters to SM Cinema, Mall of Asia Arena, SM Science Center, SM Bowling Center, SM Skating Rink, and WM Cinemas. Snack Time offers a wide variety of food, from snacks such as popcorn, burgers, sandwiches, corndogs, drinks and candies to healthy gourmet meals fit for formal parties, Snack Time is one of the biggest food operators in the entertainment and lifestyle business. Snack Time also caters to events, and is the merchandise arm of SMLEI.

SM Tickets - SM Tickets is the box office and customer care center of SMLEI. SM Tickets is the only Ticket Center available nationwide servicing house brands such as Mall of Asia Arena and SM Cinema, SM Tickets has branched out to other events venues, entertainment parks, holiday destinations, concerts, galleries, zoos, hotels, and even airlines.
